The blaring horns rang out alongside the furious pounding of massive drums. On the Tropic of Cancer, one outpost of human civilization faced an encirclement by a vast Lizardfolk army.
Hundreds of enormous Four-legged Fierce Beasts charged toward the human walls from the plains.
Each beast stood a full five meters tall. Two huge, conical horns protruded from its snout, fitted with sharp metal spears made of Metal Yu.
Dozens of tall, powerfully built Lizardfolk soldiers clung to the beasts, baring their fangs and claws as they roared. The metal spears, blades, and axes in their hands were incomparably sharp.
In the sky, countless giant kites circled around more than a thousand enormous hot-air balloon craft, alongside flying beasts and large warbirds. Every flying craft carried Lizardfolk.
Inside the human base, everyone stood ready. This Lizardfolk assault was unexpectedly fierce.
The force attacking the human base belonged to the most powerful Lizardfolk kingdom along Rainbow Star's Tropic of Cancer. It not only occupied vast territories, but also possessed the highest level of scientific civilization on all of Rainbow Star.
Although it was still primitive in humanity's eyes, there was no doubt that this civilization held tremendous potential.
"Activate the Gravity Defense Field!" The base commander swiftly issued the order in coordination with Artificial Intelligence.
Layers upon layers of gravitational defensive force fields quickly activated, firmly enveloping the entire human base in their protection.
Many people flew into the low airspace, watching the charging giant beasts with lingering fear.
The ground itself seemed to tremble beneath the beasts' pounding footsteps.
Soon, as everyone's hearts raced, the tide of beasts slammed into the gravity field.
Yet the scene everyone had hoped for did not appear. The gravity field was torn open like a thin bubble membrane!
