Ch. 381Insolence

The Three Pure Ones became Heavenly Dao Saints and opened their teachings to disciples. As Xuandu, Duobao, and Antarctic Immortal Elder welcomed the news, Hong Yuan appeared, and Zhen Yuanzi arrived at Kunlun Mountain and paid him respects.

  • The Three Pure Ones broke through to Primordial Origin Golden Immortals, fused their Primordial Violet Qi into Primordial Dao Fruits, and declared themselves Heavenly Dao Saints.
  • The Three Pure Ones announced that the Human Teaching, Jie Teaching, and Chan Teaching would open their gates and accept disciples.
  • Hong Yuan appeared beside Xuandu, Duobao, and Antarctic Immortal Elder, who recognized him as the Dao Venerable and knelt to pay respects.
  • Taishang, Yuanshi, and Tongtian appeared, kicked their disciples away for their greeting, and respectfully welcomed Hong Yuan as their Second Uncle and Elder.
  • Zhen Yuanzi arrived at Kunlun Mountain, recognized Hong Yuan, and bowed to him from a respectful distance.

Ch. 382Do You Understand?

Hong Yuan visited the newly ascended Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi, revealing how far his power exceeded theirs while they asked about his cultivation. He dodged their question with deliberate nonsense, leaving the Three Pure Ones exasperated.

  • Hong Yuan effortlessly lifted the Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi, startling the Saints with the vast gap between his power and theirs.
  • The Three Pure Ones asked whether Hong Yuan had come to give them instructions, and he explained that his cultivation had hit a bottleneck while comprehending the final Great Dao Law.
  • Yuanshi asked Hong Yuan what realm he had reached, and Hong Yuan answered vaguely that it depended on the situation.
  • Hong Yuan delivered a long, circular explanation about understanding, which Zhen Yuanzi mistook for profound Dao wisdom.
  • Yuanshi recognized that Hong Yuan was teasing them and complained that his Second Uncle was talking nonsense.

Ch. 383The Pangu Orthodox Title Is Yours

Hong Yuan visited the Three Pure Ones on Kunlun Mountain, promised them the title of Pangu Orthodox, and revealed that Pangu was still alive and resting. The Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi were left stunned by the revelation and sensed Pangu’s presence above Zhou Mountain.

  • Hong Yuan scolded Yuanshi for speaking disrespectfully to his Second Uncle, then said he planned to stay at Kunlun Mountain and check on the Three Pure Ones’ progress.
  • Hong Yuan promised to award the Three Pure Ones the title of Pangu Orthodox, and Yuanshi, Taishang, and Tongtian tried to please him with a fan, elixirs, and a sword dance.
  • Hong Yuan stopped the Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi from fawning over him and told the Three Pure Ones to take disciples first.
  • Hong Yuan bestowed the title on the Three Pure Ones, then said that Pangu had not died but was merely sleeping.
  • The Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi were shocked by Hong Yuan’s revelation, and the Three Pure Ones sensed Pangu’s presence above Zhou Mountain.

Ch. 384You Never Asked, Did You?

After sensing Pangu’s aura, the Three Pure Ones learned from Hong Yuan that their Father God had never fallen. Hong Yuan teased them with a magical recording, then told them the Ancestral Witches did not know the truth either and urged them to prepare for the waiting crowd below Kunlun Mountain.

  • The Three Pure Ones grew emotional after sensing Pangu’s aura, and Hong Yuan confirmed that Pangu had not fallen.
  • Hong Yuan replayed a recording of the Three Pure Ones crying and offered copies to Zhen Yuanzi, Xuandu, Duobao, and Antarctic Immortal Elder; all refused, and the latter three knocked themselves unconscious.
  • Taishang asked why Hong Yuan had never told them about Pangu, and Hong Yuan replied that they had never asked.
  • Yuanshi asked whether the Ancestral Witches knew, and Hong Yuan said they did not, prompting the Three Pure Ones to feel proud of their Pangu heritage.
  • Hong Yuan told the Three Pure Ones to wake Xuandu and the others and prepare for the many beings waiting below Kunlun Mountain.

Ch. 385Not So Timid, Are You?!

At Kunlun Mountain, Yuanshi questioned Tongtian’s plan to accept a vast and varied group of disciples into the Jie Teaching. Zhen Yuanzi supported Tongtian’s open-door principle but advised strict rules for disciples with poor fortune or heavy causality, leaving the decision to Tongtian.

  • Duobao and the Antarctic Immortal Elder assembled a million prospective disciples at Kunlun Mountain, with most gathered behind Duobao for the Jie Teaching.
  • Yuanshi urged Tongtian to screen the Jie Teaching’s candidates, warning that many had poor roots and could harm the Three Pure Ones’ reputation.
  • Tongtian asked Hong Yuan for his opinion, and Hong Yuan instead asked Zhen Yuanzi to speak.
  • Zhen Yuanzi praised Tongtian’s teaching without discrimination but agreed with Yuanshi that some candidates had poor fortune, temperaments, and heavy causality.
  • Zhen Yuanzi advised Tongtian to accept such disciples only under strict rules that would make them settle their past causality and prevent them from causing trouble.

Ch. 386The Two Teachings Accept Disciples

Yuanshi and Tongtian accepted the beings gathered on Kunlun Mountain into the Chan Teaching and Jie Teaching, granting them cultivation methods and selecting promising disciples. They then brought their new disciples to seek an audience with Hong Yuan.

  • Tongtian resolved to accept all who wished to join the Jie Teaching while requiring disciples to reform or leave if they refused to change.
  • Yuanshi and Tongtian emerged on Kunlun Mountain, where Duobao, the Antarctic Immortal Elder, and the gathered beings greeted the two Saints.

  • Yuanshi and Tongtian brought their new disciples to Hong Yuan's hall and requested an audience with their Second Uncle.

Ch. 387I Made Something of Myself!

Jin Ling, Guang Chengzi, Duobao, and the others entered Hong Yuan’s hall to pay their respects to the Dao Venerable. Hong Yuan welcomed Yuanshi and Tongtian’s disciples as disciples under him too, then enhanced their Root Foundations, leaving them with far greater cultivation potential.

Ch. 388What Are You Trying to Do?!

After Hong Yuan finished instructing the four Saints, he summoned an axe resembling Pangu’s Sky-Opening Divine Axe and attacked them to test their strength. He nearly killed Zhen Yuanzi with one strike, and the Three Pure Ones prepared to fight back.

  • Hong Yuan discussed the Dao with Taishang, Yuanshi, Tongtian, and Zhen Yuanzi for several Yuan Hui, while Duobao and the others listened for less than a hundred years before being sent away.
  • Hong Yuan produced an ancient axe and said he would test the Saints, then suppressed his cultivation from the ninth level of the Primordial Golden Immortal Realm to the first.
  • Hong Yuan struck Zhen Yuanzi, cleaving through the Earth Book’s defenses and splitting Zhen Yuanzi’s Saint body in two.
  • Zhen Yuanzi reassembled, badly weakened, and the Three Pure Ones realized Hong Yuan had meant to attack in earnest.
  • Taishang called on Yuanshi and Tongtian to attack with everything they had, and the Three Pure Ones brought out their supreme treasures.

Ch. 389A Mediocre Teacher Who Misled His Students

Hong Yuan tested the Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi, whose powerful treasures proved unable to match his axe. The four joined forces against him, but Hong Yuan drew a second axe as the battle continued.

  • Zhen Yuanzi was astonished by the Three Pure Ones’ supreme treasures, and Hong Yuan approved of their strength before inviting them to attack.
  • Yuanshi struck Hong Yuan with the Pangu Banner, but Hong Yuan’s axe light split the attack and forced Yuanshi to rely on Zhen Yuanzi’s Earth Book and his Myriad Heavens Celebration Cloud.
  • Taishang and Tongtian attacked with their treasures, but Hong Yuan’s sweeping axe light overwhelmed their defenses and drove them backward.
  • Hong Yuan criticized Taishang and Tongtian’s fighting, then sent another axe strike at them.
  • Yuanshi and Zhen Yuanzi arrived to help Taishang and Tongtian resist the attack, and Hong Yuan produced a second axe.

Ch. 390Eighty, Eighty

Hong Yuan attacked the Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi with the One Hundred and Eight Axes of Heaven Opening, claiming he and Pangu had created the technique together. After Zhen Yuanzi was killed and the Three Pure Ones endured the first 107 strikes, Hong Yuan’s final axe left Taishang alive with only half his body while Yuanshi and Tongtian vanished.

  • Hong Yuan invoked the One Hundred and Eight Axes of Heaven Opening and grew to dozens of light-years in height before attacking the four Saints.
  • Zhen Yuanzi called upon the Earth Book, but Hong Yuan’s axe lights overwhelmed him and annihilated him after three strikes.
  • Hong Yuan continued counting his strikes as the Three Pure Ones failed to combine their treasures and suffered severe Dao wounds.
  • Hong Yuan announced that his 108th axe would be his final strike and swept it across the Three Pure Ones, disrupting the River of Time.
  • Taishang regained consciousness with half his body remaining and found Yuanshi and Tongtian gone, while their dim treasures floated nearby.

Ch. 391Zhao Gongming and San Xiao

Hong Yuan defeated the Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi, then revived them after Taishang died from the divine axe. He visited Jie Teaching as Zhao Gongming and the San Xiao gathered for a lecture, where a newcomer asked about their past dispute with the Demon Race.

  • Hong Yuan let the divine axe fall onto the wounded Taishang, killing him, then restored the world and revived the Three Pure Ones and Zhen Yuanzi.
  • Hong Yuan left the Three Pure Ones' dojo and noted that the Jie Teaching and Chan Teaching disciples had grown in number.
  • Zhao Gongming, Yun Xiao, Qiong Xiao, and Bi Xiao arrived for Duobao and Jinling's lecture on the Dao.
  • Qiong Xiao recalled that Bi Xiao had once approached the Demon Race's Teleportation Array, and Zhao Gongming warned her of its importance.
  • A newcomer asked Zhao Gongming and the San Xiao whether they had once clashed with the Demon Race.

Ch. 392This Daoist Is Leopard Head Lin Chong

Hong Yuan met Zhao Gongming, Yun Xiao, Qiong Xiao, and Bi Xiao, who mistook him for a weak senior disciple despite his claim to belong to all Three Teachings and to have joined before Duobao. As Duobao and Jinling lectured, Bi Xiao worried over Hong Yuan’s apparent lack of attention and disrupted the lesson by scolding him.

  • Zhao Gongming and the others told Hong Yuan they had escaped the Demon Race without fighting them, and Hong Yuan reassured them that they could settle accounts with the demons later under Saint Tongtian.
  • Hong Yuan said he belonged to all Three Teachings and had entered before Duobao, leaving Zhao Gongming, Yun Xiao, and Qiong Xiao convinced that he was a poorly gifted but true eldest senior brother.
  • Bi Xiao promised to help improve Hong Yuan’s innate foundation, and Hong Yuan introduced himself as Leopard Head Lin Chong.
  • Duobao and Jinling began lecturing on the Upper Pure Wonderful Method, and the Jie Teaching disciples listened closely while Hong Yuan yawned and paid no attention.
  • Bi Xiao offered to recount the lecture for Hong Yuan, then scolded him for being self-defeating and drew Duobao’s frown as he noticed her interruption.

Ch. 393Six Saints?

Bi Xiao’s strange reaction to Lin Chong’s disappearance caught the attention of Jin Ling and Duobao, while Hong Yuan traveled through the Primordial Wilderness as six figures began declaring their paths to sainthood. The chapter left Hong Yun manifesting an immortal realm as the six declarations resounded across the world.

  • Bi Xiao noticed that Lin Chong had vanished from beside her, and her calculations showed the Fox-faced Junior Brother had always been there.
  • Jin Ling heard a mysterious voice tell her to leave the matter alone, then secretly informed Duobao, who accidentally blurted out “Holy shit” while expounding the Dao.
  • Hong Yuan rode the Black Tortoise through the Primordial Wilderness and reflected that several powerful figures were nearing sainthood.
  • Tian Wu, Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, Ru Shou, and Xuan Ming each declared how their Dao and power would serve the Primordial Wilderness.

  • Ming He created the Asura Race from the Blood Sea, received merit from the Earthly Path, and led his people toward the Underworld to earn more merit.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti established the Western Pure Land and the Western Teachings, but found the merit they received was insufficient for both of them to become saints.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti decided to make great vows to obtain additional merit, and Hong Yuan told the Heavenly Dao and Human Path to approve their loan with higher interest.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti made forty-eight great vows, causing merit to grow while forty-eight chains of Causality appeared upon them.

Ch. 395Let's Open a Shop

Hong Yuan revealed to Black Tortoise that Merit Coins contained Heavenly Dao Merit and could be traded, leaving Black Tortoise fearing the conflict they might provoke throughout the Primordial Wilderness.

  • A wandering immortal scratched a card and won a low-grade Innate Spiritual Treasure, then a hundred Merit Coins’ worth of Heavenly Dao Merit.
  • The other wandering immortals rushed to exchange for coins and Scratch Cards after seeing his rewards.
  • Black Tortoise asked Hong Yuan why he had created the Scratch Cards and the coins.
  • Hong Yuan gave Black Tortoise a Merit Coin, and Black Tortoise drew its Heavenly Dao Merit into himself with ease.
  • Black Tortoise realized the coins could spread Heavenly Dao Merit through trading and feared beings across the Primordial Wilderness would slaughter one another to acquire them.

Ch. 398No One Will Help Me Fulfill My Lofty Ambitions

Hong Yuan appointed Xuangui to guard New Lisboa and offered him one hundred Merit Coins a day, while scattered immortals eagerly spent and borrowed Merit Coins to buy Scratch Cards. As New Lisboa’s prizes and loan system drew more visitors, some penniless immortals considered robbing weaker beings outside the Cloud Dream Realm.

  • Hong Yuan asked Xuangui whether he wanted Merit Coins and hired him to guard New Lisboa for one hundred coins a day.
  • Scattered immortals scraped Scratch Cards, and one immortal won a peach while others kept buying cards despite their losses.
  • After spending their merit, many immortals borrowed Merit Coins from the Merit Trading Cauldron, then returned to the second floor and spent them on more Scratch Cards.
  • News spread that Merit Coins could be traded and taken outside the Cloud Dream Realm, prompting some penniless immortals to eye weaker beings as potential targets.
  • New Lisboa spread by word of mouth until every scattered immortal in the Cloud Dream Realm had heard about it and its opportunities.
