• Duobao Tathagata ordered Ancient Buddha Randeng to visit the Heavenly Court and told Chan Master Wu Chao to stop Huaguang in Northern Continent of Uttarakuru.
• Duobao Tathagata resumed cultivating, determined to become a Saint and defeat Gu Changsheng.
• Ancient Buddha Randeng warned Haotian that Changsheng Heavenly Venerate was using Ziwei the Great Emperor to weaken Haotian’s authority, and offered Buddhist support against him.

Huaguang Heavenly King learned where Tian Guan and Di Zhou lived and went to capture them. He bound Di Zhou with the Demon Binding Rope, and Tian Guan came out of the cave to confront him.

• Huaguang Heavenly King asked the City God and the Land God where Tian Guan and Di Zhou resided, then arranged for Zhong Kui to take the city's dead souls to the Underworld.
• The Land God led Huaguang Heavenly King to the demon cave, where Di Zhou came out to fight him.
• Huaguang Heavenly King smashed Di Zhou's demonic attack with the Golden Brick and captured him with the Demon Binding Rope.

Huaguang fought Tian Guan the Demon God and Chan Master Wu Chao after refusing to surrender the demon brothers to the Buddhist sect. As Wu Chao unleashed his Myriad Buddha Dharma Idol, a radiant palace descended from the void.
