The girls hurried away while whispering among themselves. Meanwhile, little Elysia ate the bread a kind grandmother had given her, drank her milk tea, and curiously walked into the alley.
She was terribly curious about the vampire rumors, and she was not actually afraid. After all, she had discovered the strange power within her body: a pink energy that crystallized in the air, taking on the texture of crystal, yet was far sturdier than ordinary crystal.
