Kevin felt no joy as he held the girl. Instead, he could feel the girl in his arms growing weaker and weaker. He touched her forehead—she seemed to be running a fever too!
"Damn it, what the hell is going on today?"
"What are those tiny purple particles? And why do I feel myself getting stronger and stronger?"
Kevin held Mei, who weighed nearly a hundred pounds, yet he did not feel any strain at all. The girl in his arms felt as light as a rag doll.
Holding the girl, who felt weightless to him, Kevin hurried downstairs. Then he stared in shock at the scene of chaos before him.
His once-familiar classmates roared as they lunged at other terrified people.

"There are so many crazy people biting others!"
"Fuck, Resident Evil!"
