Meanwhile, a spark of consciousness was born within a mechanical body. It lay in the disposal pool of Mobius's laboratory, and even with eighty percent of its body destroyed, that spark of consciousness still refused to let go of its will to survive.
Mobius, who had tossed the discarded mechanical body into the disposal pool, noticed that its ugly, terrifying mechanical head was staring straight at her, its mouth opening and closing as though it wanted to say something.
"Interesting... You were only an experiment I created to revive Klein. Still, this is rather interesting. I've decided to give you a chance."
As she spoke, Mobius fished out the robot, which had been corroded down to nothing but a head, then casually made a brand-new body for it. Before long, a tall, gaunt robot stood in Mobius's laboratory.
"From now on, you will be called Gray Serpent. Go. You are free. Let me witness your possibilities."
