{The fun's starting~}
Next, everyone ate some not-very-tasty grilled lamb skewers and hand-grabbed rice. Incidentally, the people of Amphoreus were used to eating with their hands, and Theresa and the others could not really accept that, so they only ate these less-than-delicious foods.
But there was nothing to be done. Castrum Kremnos from a thousand years ago was not as well supplied as it would be in later generations, and spices such as black pepper were luxuries only nobles and above were qualified to enjoy.
Thus, the dry grilled lamb, flavored with nothing but charcoal, gave off a strong gamey stench. Theresa, who called herself a little foodie, could barely manage one skewer before refusing to eat any more.
Everyone awkwardly smiled as they forced down the lamb skewers, but the simple-minded Mountain Folk warriors did not notice how pained they looked.
Everyone got up and began touring the rest of Castrum Kremnos. Though the food here was not much, the scenery from a thousand years ago was still quite lovely.
Mydei was the most absorbed by it all. Looking upon such a magnificent Castrum Kremnos, he felt the urge to revive it once more!
He wanted to restore the dilapidated Castrum Kremnos and make it even more splendid than it had been a thousand years ago!
At the same time, he realized that the Xuanfeng people's exceptionally warlike nature would sooner or later get them all killed. He wanted to change them—at the very least, make them cherish life and stop fighting enemies to the death at every turn.
Three system hours later, everyone returned to the enormous palace, still wanting more, and waited for the Great Warrior's response.
Before long, the Great Warrior came running over, drenched in sweat and tightly clutching a command scroll.
"Great Warrior!"
