"Vigneire... wh-why..."
Vacher lowered his head in disbelief, looking at the Oceanid whose countless water spikes had pierced his body as he asked. His expression was full of anguish and shock.
"Hehehe, why..."
"Because we aren't just your Vigneire. We're also the ones who died in your experiments over all these years!"
"If only you hadn't existed... without you, I could have finished studying law. Perhaps I could have become a first-rate legal representative..."
"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have ended up like this!"
Vigneire's voice coming from the Oceanid suddenly changed into those of other girls, but those voices brimmed with hatred!
"That's right... it was all because of you. Without this misfortune, I could have continued pursuing my dream of painting. Perhaps one day, even the Palais Mermonia would have displayed my paintings?"
"But it's too late... my life, my dreams, they're all gone because of you!"
"I wish I could tear you to pieces! You've only survived this long so the other girls could vent their hatred for you too!"
Another girl's voice sounded distinctly young. She stared venomously at the shocked, terrified Vacher, murmuring her hatred for the murderer who had ruined her life!
Squelch-!
"Aaargh-!"
With a thought from the Oceanid, the water spikes embedded in Vacher's arm suddenly turned into blades of water and sliced his left arm clean off. It fell onto the stage floor with a splat.
Vacher merely felt the left side of his body grow lighter. He watched in horror as ketchup gushed from his severed arm, staining the Oceanid an ever deeper crimson...
"My turn. I won't let you die easily!"
The Oceanid then began taking revenge on Vacher. Neuvillette helplessly closed his eyes, unable to bear looking directly at such a bloody scene.
"Urgh-"
Furina, too,
