Neuvillette helplessly asked for a few days to think it over. Theresa did not insist; after all, forced Elation was no fun at all.
But Neuvillette now had a new concern. After embarking on the Path of The Permanence, his Authority of Water had become even more extraordinary than he had imagined.
For instance, he could merge into the omnipresent Hydro or water vapor, making him difficult to kill.
His perception, however, put him in an awkward position. After all, wherever there was water, little could escape his notice, so he could only do his best to stop his senses from spreading outward and catching some "lovely sights" he should not see.
He did not have to worry about Theresa, though. As the Aeon of Order, the area around her was covered in the power of the Path, so Neuvillette would not passively see anything he should not.
Thus, Neuvillette had no choice but to ask Theresa whether she had a solution.
"I do, Old Neuvillette. You want to restrain your senses so they don't wander around and catch awkward scenes, right?"
"I can do that. But everything comes at a price. I can restrain those somewhat disobedient senses of yours, but there'll be some random, bizarre side effects. Can you accept that?"
That was right. Theresa still could not resist messing with Old Neuvillette~
"Will it hurt anyone else?"
"You know who I mean."
Naturally, Neuvillette was thinking of Focalors and Furina. He did not want to hurt them because of some side effect. If that happened, he would never forgive himself!
"Don't worry. I just need to put a restraint seal on you. As for the side effects, all I can say is that it depends on your luck."
