Skirk drew her weapon, Cangyao. It was an angel's weapon, and Skirk was its second owner.
The originally snow-white Star Blade had turned blue and white under the influence of Skirk's Abyss Power. Yet it bore none of the Abyss's characteristic black and purple; instead, its dazzling blue and white made the longsword look exquisite.
{Skirk's weapon really is gorgeous!}
Now, under the influence of Skirk's new four powers, the weapon began a fresh transformation. The blue in its blue-and-white coloring turned azure-the wind of The Hunt.
The sword's spine was imbued with the power of Abundance, which greatly increased the weapon's durability. There was no need to fear damage, either, because the authority of Abundance could restore anything to its original condition.
Black-and-gold flames of Destruction coiled around the cutting edge, ready to spread the Flames of Destruction onto an enemy the instant it struck, inflicting immense pain.
The grip and guard were formed from the carapace of Propagation. The peculiar black shell lent the weapon a sinister air.
Holding Cangyao, which had transformed after being imbued with the power of four Paths, Skirk sensed that the sword's strength had risen to a level she could no longer fathom.
That left Skirk rather awed. The power of these Paths was far stronger than the power of the Abyss!
In fact, her weapon was not the only thing to undergo a new transformation. Skirk herself was adapting to the power of the four Paths within her, but she had a clear sense of something.
These mighty powers were not permanent. It was more as though {someone} had copied and pasted them onto her. From what she could sense, they could sustain her through one earth-shaking battle in which she held nothing back.
"Joyful Aha... just who is this being?"
Skirk
