Chapter Summaries

Theresa turned the Dr. Ratio petrification crisis in Golden Epoch into a game, giving the survivors weapons and a way to resist assimilation. While Acheron, Liu Ying, Stelle, and Sparkle began fighting back inside the sealed dream, an uninvited guest confronted Yinyueyue and Pam aboard the Astral Express.

• Theresa announced that the Dr. Ratio outbreak was a dream-game and opened a Joy Store with weapons and a potion to reverse assimilation.
• Theresa gave Acheron, Liu Ying, and Stelle Big Brain Eyepatches, and they put them on to protect themselves from assimilation.
• Theresa demonstrated that the Cute Cat Gun could defeat a Dr. Ratio with a shot to its large head.
• Sparkle joined Theresa and took a Tritritri Shotgun while Acheron, Liu Ying, and Stelle began attacking Dr. Ratios.

Yinyueyue and Bottio left the Astral Express to investigate why its passengers had gone silent, but entering Penacony’s dreamscape revealed a Foolification Crisis that was turning people into Dr. Ratio monsters. They joined a settlement using Big Brain Eyepatches to resist assimilation, while a new Joy Shop mission called for a counterattack.

• Bottio introduced himself as a Galaxy Ranger, and he and Yinyueyue realized they were both searching for missing allies and clues about someone impersonating a Galaxy Ranger.
• Yinyueyue said farewell to Pam and left the Astral Express with Bottio to investigate Penacony.
• Yinyueyue and Bottio checked into the Daydream Hotel and entered the dreamscape, where they found white-haired figures and giant monsters chanting “Teri.”
• A Family staff member explained that the Foolification Crisis was assimilating people into Dr. Ratio monsters and gave them Big Brain Eyepatches to resist it.
• Yinyueyue and Bottio put on the eyepatches, and the Joy Shop issued a mission to have the settlement eliminate at least five hundred Dr. Ratios.

Gallagher organized the settlement to fight a mandatory wave of Dr. Ratios, while Yinyueyue and Black Swan received upgraded weapons. The battle began, and Yinyueyue rescued transformed Aventurine and Ratiō by reversing their petrification, leaving the fight ongoing.

• Gallagher told the newcomers that everyone had to defeat five hundred Dr. Ratios and distributed Idiot-Repelling Weapons.
• Yinyueyue received a Dragon Sniper with special skills, while Black Swan’s shotgun upgraded into a grenade launcher.

Theresa used her power to bind Liu Ying’s unraveling consciousness and planned to claim the dreamland and invite the Stellaron Hunters to join her in causing trouble.

• Theresa led the group into the Tide of Dreams, where the locals welcomed her enthusiastically.
• Liu Ying revealed that she was a Stellaron Hunter who piloted Sam and explained her illness and her search for a cure.
• Stelle and Himeko asked Theresa to help Liu Ying, and Theresa agreed in exchange for playful favors.

Stelle and March 7th entered the Trial of Harmony, while Aventurine, Ratiō, Bottio, and Yinyueyue joined forces and learned that Theresa was both a deity and a Stellaron Hunter.

• Gallagher led the group to Mikhail’s pavilion, where they found the Watchmaker’s empty Memory Bubble.

After Theresa drove Xipe away and stripped most of the Family of Harmony's power, she offered them a new path and invited Misha, Gallagher, Sunday, and Ms. Nightingale to join the Astral Express. Misha, Gallagher, and the siblings accepted, leaving the group set to address the Stellar Core and Penacony's future.

• Theresa offered Sunday and Ms. Nightingale the power of Binding, and Sunday pledged the Family to her while she promised a later coronation after they resolved the Stellar Core issue.
• Theresa encouraged Misha to begin a new story as Misha, and Gallagher and Mika urged him to return to the Astral Express.

Theresa empowered Sunday and Ms. Nightingale with restraint as the group fought the monsters and prepared to contain the Stellar Core.

• Sunday and his sister explained that the Stellar Core had once anchored the earliest dreams, and that Fragmentum fissures and Abyss Monsters now filled the area beneath the theatre.
• March 7th and Ms. Nightingale saw more than a hundred thousand Abyss Monsters surge toward the group after the Harmony seal shattered.
