Chapter Summaries

After reaching Yukari Yakumo’s residence, the group fought the musclemen guarding it, and Old Yang used his magical-girl powers to stop Ye Shunguang’s runaway Astral Express projection. He reverted to his original form and forfeited in embarrassment, while Otto revealed he had recorded the whole thing.

• After the others left the shrine, Reimu admired her restored appearance in the pond while Aya Shameimaru teased her.
• The group followed Reimu’s map for five hours and reached the muscleman-guarded Yakumo Residence beside the Great Hakurei Barrier.
• Ye Shunguang, actually Pam, summoned an Astral Express projection and drove it through the musclemen, breaking their Philosophy Power.
• A spatial gap redirected the train toward the Stellaron Hunters, so Old Yang used the Star of Eden to swallow it in a Black Hole projection.
• Old Yang reverted from magical girl Zhong Li and forfeited in embarrassment, while Otto teased him and revealed he had recorded his transformation.

Phainon used his blazing-sun power to purify the Philosophy Power contaminating Yukari Yakumo and the beefcakes. When the Level Key emerged from Yukari, the Masters and Heroic Spirits scrambled to claim it.

• March 7th dismissed the beefcakes, and a Banana-kun transformed by Yukari Yakumo led a Philosophy music performance that entranced the crowd.

Saber, Cú Chulainn, and Archer joined forces with the other Heroic Spirits to defeat Gilgamesh after Stellaron Essence stole his Sword of Rupture. When Aha refused to confirm that the Holy Grail could grant any wish, many Masters abandoned the contest, while Aventurine and Acheron reconsidered what resurrection would mean.

• Stellaron Essence returned Saber's weapon, and Saber, Cú Chulainn, and Archer attacked the weakened Gilgamesh with Excalibur, Gáe Bolg, and Unlimited Blade Works.
