Ch. 981Head-tilting kitty Sandrone: Huh???

Lumine and Paimon turned in commissions to Sandrone, then offered her a trove of rare materials from powerful opponents. After Theresa briefly revealed Iron Tomb’s remains, Sandrone bought the materials and planned to use them to upgrade Promnia.

  • Lumine and Paimon submitted their commissions, and Sandrone processed their rewards.
  • Lumine presented Sandrone with rare materials from the Dragon King mimicked by the Abyss Will, Dvalin, the Raiden Shogun, and other battles.
  • Theresa restrained and revealed Iron Tomb’s remains, whose overwhelming power frightened Sandrone and the people nearby.
  • The Ruler of Void tried to approach the rare materials, but the other Three Shades restrained her and the Ruler of Life fitted her with a collar that blocked teleportation.
  • Sandrone accepted the materials, including the Star-Devouring Whale’s Lightless Mass, and planned to use them to modify Promnia.

Ch. 982Off to the Flagship for a Feast!

Sandrone paid Lumine for the high-tier materials and registered the Stellaron Hunters as a B-rank adventuring party called Astral Express. Nefer then invited the group to the Flagship for a feast, leaving them ready to enjoy the arrangements she had made.

  • Sandrone offered Lumine three hundred and fifty million Mora for the materials, and Lumine stored the payment away.
  • Theresa gave Sandrone a storage bracelet, and Sandrone used it to put away the materials.
  • Himeko asked Sandrone to register an adventuring party named Astral Express, and Sandrone granted it B-rank status.
  • Nefer said Yakoda had arranged for the group to spend half a day at the Flagship as her guests.

Ch. 983A chance encounter with Varka and the Knights of Favonius expedition

Yakoda booked the Flagship tavern for Nefer and her guests, but the Knights of Favonius expedition was already there. Nefer turned the unexpected meeting with Varka into a chance to get acquainted, while Himeko stopped Sandrone from leaving.

  • Yakoda paid the Flagship's owner to reserve the tavern for half a day, and the owner cleared out its customers.
  • Varka and the Knights of Favonius asked to stay, but the owner hesitated to offend either them or the Secret Research Institute.
  • Nefer and Sandrone arrived with Theresa and the other Stellaron Hunters, drawing the tavern's attention.
  • Varka introduced himself as Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius expedition and asked whether Lumine was the Honorary Knight.
  • Nefer invited the Knights to stay, and Lumine, Paimon, Phainon, Flins, and Sandrone introduced themselves.
  • Sandrone tried to leave, but Himeko wrapped her tail around Sandrone's ankle and told her she could not go.

Ch. 984Sandrone: I Have Unraveled the Truth of the World!

Theresa and Himeko persuaded Sandrone to try cat-ear hair clips that Laigushi had developed, claiming they would greatly improve her World Formula calculations. After Sandrone put them on, her processing speed surged, though her core warned her not to observe Theresa.

  • Himeko asked Sandrone what she was good at, and Sandrone explained her powerful algorithms, alchemy skills, and World Formula for calculating fate.
  • Sandrone said the World Formula could not handle the Stellaron Hunters’ vast, complex data without burning out her core.
  • Theresa and Himeko offered to enhance Sandrone’s computational abilities, and Theresa asked Laigushi for the hair clips he had developed.
  • Prometheus confirmed that the clips would increase the World Formula’s calculation efficiency by one hundred percent, and Sandrone reluctantly put them on.
  • Sandrone’s processing speed increased dramatically, but her core warned that observing Theresa would burn out the system.

Ch. 985Theresa: For the Trailblaze~

Theresa and the Stellaron Hunters explained to Varka and the others that they were Descenders who had come to Teyvat to help cleanse the Abyss. After learning about Nod-Krai’s Wild Hunt and the Frost Moon Scions’ troubles, the group planned to investigate the Scions.

  • Sandrone used the cat-ear hair clip to predict what Yakoda, Varka, and Stellaron Essence would say, but the effort overheated her and made her sit down to cool off.
  • Theresa told Varka that she and her companions were Stellaron Hunters from beyond Teyvat and could be called Descenders.
  • Sandrone explained that Descenders came from beyond the False Sky, were absent from Teyvat’s records, and were not bound by its rules.
  • Stellaron Essence said the Hunters had come to help Teyvat fight the Abyss, which had spread across many worlds beyond it.
  • Nefer described how fragments of a Khaenri’ahn sinner caused the Wild Hunt in Nod-Krai and could not be destroyed.
  • Varka explained that lunar crystallization force could suppress Abyss Power and said they planned to visit the troubled Frost Moon Scions.

Ch. 986Thousand-Elemental-Mastery Varka?

Theresa pressured Sandrone to remove the devices draining power from the Moon Goddess’s statues and then asked her to lead the group to Columbina. Meanwhile, Varka and his companions took Himeko’s ridiculous elemental-training book seriously and went off to train.

  • Theresa confronted Sandrone about the Lunar Crystallization Force Absorption Devices on the Moon Goddess statues, and Sandrone explained that Dottore had ordered their installation.
  • Theresa demanded that Sandrone remove every device in Nod-Krai, and Sandrone agreed to order their removal while Himeko threatened to deal with anyone who objected.
  • Himeko gave Varka a book titled “Thousand-Elemental-Mastery Varka?”, and Stellaron Essence read its jokes about Varka pretending swordplay caused elemental reactions.
  • Varka, Flins, and Phainon decided to practice the book’s techniques together and hurried off to train.
  • Sandrone led Theresa and the others to Xixi Island, where the Frost Moon Scions lived, and they saw strange rain repeatedly reverse direction amid dense Lunar Crystallization Force.

Ch. 987Meeting Rauma for the first time

Sandrone and the others met Rauma, the Frost Moon Scions' Moonchant Envoy, and asked for help finding the Moon Goddess. Rauma could not identify the goddess’s location, but Sandrone asked about the Wild Hunt, suggesting the group might help the Scions earn their goodwill.

  • Sandrone warned the group to respect the Frost Moon Scions’ faith and avoid harming the intelligent animals, while Nefer and Sandrone envied Rauma’s affinity for them.
  • The group arrived at the Frost Moon Scions’ settlement, where Rauma greeted them after the local animals reported sensing no malice.
  • Theresa and Himeko dazzled the shy Rauma, while Stellaron Essence photographed them and Nefer felt uncomfortable watching them cuddle.
  • Sandrone asked Rauma for help finding the Moon Goddess, but Rauma said the Scions had only vaguely sensed her return and did not know where she was.
  • Sandrone asked whether the Wild Hunt also occurred on Xixi Island, and Rauma explained that she alone did most of the work suppressing it.

Ch. 988Moon Hunter Leiriel: After All That, I Still Have to Put Myself Back Together...

After escaping the Lunar Cage with only a fraction of his body, Leiriel searched for a heart fragment that could restore his human form. Lorne and Phainon attacked him, and Flins took the fragment as Leiriel was sent flying, while Phainon tried to save the wounded Lorne.

  • Leiriel returned to Teyvat through a brief spatial rift, then recalled how Solindis died after he entered the Moon Gate and how he became one of the Five Sinners.
  • Leiriel found his heart fragment among the Wild Hunt and reached for it, hoping to regain a human-shaped body.
  • Lorne speared the fragment and challenged Leiriel, who severely injured him with an elbow strike and a kick.
  • Flins paralyzed Leiriel with lightning, and Phainon’s yellow-and-purple fish struck him and sent him flying.
  • Flins picked up Leiriel’s heart fragment, while Phainon gave the gravely injured Lorne an Abundance Recovery Potion.

Ch. 989A new target for torment?

Phainon and Flins brought Lorne, whom Theresa’s Abundance potion had healed, to the Frost Moon Scions. Lorne asked to buy healing and purification supplies for the Knights of Favonius and Lightkeepers, while Himeko and Theresa began making plans after hearing his wish to grow stronger.

  • Theresa’s Abundance potion healed Lorne’s severe injuries and old wounds, and he woke while Phainon and Flins carried him toward the Frost Moon Scions.
  • Lorne thanked Phainon and Flins for saving him, then resolved to train harder after recalling how easily the Moon Hunter had defeated him.
  • At the Frost Moon Scions, Lorne asked Theresa for Abundance potions for the Knights of Favonius, and Flins requested supplies for the Lightkeepers.
  • Theresa explained how Purifying Evil Pills and Purifying Evil Incense treated Abyss contamination and helped keep the Wild Hunt away, and Lorne and Flins agreed to buy plenty.
  • Theresa offered the supplies for a token hundred Mora per portion, and Himeko asked Lorne about his wish; after he said he wanted to grow stronger, Stellaron Essence wondered if Himeko and Theresa had found a new target to torment.

Ch. 990Lorne was left questioning his life by a fish

After Lorne described his near-fatal encounter with Moonhunter Leiriel, Theresa explained the Descenders’ mission to fight the Abyss, and Phainon offered to train him. Lorne’s strongest attack bounced off a strange fish, leaving him questioning his strength as Phainon revealed the fish’s extraordinary origins.

  • Lorne recounted how Moonhunter Leiriel nearly killed him before Phainon saved him with Theresa’s Alchemy Potion.
  • Flins praised the potion, while Theresa explained that the Descenders had come to investigate and ultimately resolve the Abyssal calamity threatening Teyvat.
  • Nefer questioned the Descenders’ motives, and Prometheus and Laigushi said they sought no benefit and simply wanted to save others.
  • Phainon offered to assess Lorne’s strength and told him to attack with everything he had.
  • Lorne struck Phainon with his spear, but Phainon blocked it with a little yellow-and-purple fish that emerged unharmed.
  • Phainon explained that the fish was formed using Abundance and the Authority of Order.

Ch. 991Columbina: Sandrone? So cute!

Phainon and Flins agreed to help Lorne train the Knights of Favonius while Theresa’s group searched for Columbina. Sandrone led Theresa, Nefer, and Rauma to a Moon Spirit that knew her and awaited their meeting.

  • Phainon showed Flins that his yellowandpurple little fish could block Lorne’s powerful Cryo-enhanced spear strike.
  • Lorne invited Phainon and Flins to accompany him to the Knights of Favonius Camp and train its members, and they agreed.
  • Phainon asked Rauma about Cyrene, and she recalled that Cyrene had left to go on an adventure; Stellaron Essence reassured them that Cyrene could protect herself.
  • Theresa’s group split from Phainon, Flins, and Lorne, and Nefer and Rauma joined the search for Columbina.
  • Sandrone guided Theresa, Nefer, and Rauma to a luminous white Moon Spirit that knew Sandrone and looked forward to meeting her.

Ch. 992Sandrone: Columbina! Hah!!

Sandrone and the others followed a Moon Spirit into Columbina’s hidden Underground Hollow, where they found Columbina singing beside Cyrene. Columbina recognized Sandrone’s cat ears, prompting Sandrone to angrily explain that the ears had fused with her and a tail had appeared as her body began changing into a catgirl.

  • The Moon Spirit welcomed Sandrone, and Sandrone decided to let Columbina remain in the area because lunar crystallization force could help her.
  • The Moon Spirit agreed to guide the group to Columbina, dissolved a disguised rock face, and led them through a cave while Sandrone asked them not to trample the flowers.
  • The group entered a luminous Underground Hollow and quietly listened as Columbina sang while Cyrene recorded her performance.
  • Columbina spotted Sandrone and complimented her cat ears, making Sandrone blush and angrily tell her not to mention them.
  • Sandrone revealed that the cat ears had fused with her scalp, a white tail had grown from her spine, and her body was gradually changing from an Intellitron into a catgirl.

Ch. 993Tea party time! A meeting of big-eating girls~

Cyrene and Columbina welcomed the Stellaron Hunters to Silvermoon Court, where the girls gathered for a tea party and devised a blind taste test. Their game took an unexpected turn when Theresa summoned a talking golden die named Guiji, who had been transported from Dual-Phase Paradise and sealed by platinum-colored Imaginary Energy.

  • Cyrene asked Theresa where Phainon had gone, and Stellaron Essence said he had left to help the Lightkeepers and change their uniforms.
  • Sandrone set up a mechanical table and served tea and pastries, while Theresa added Debord Cake and dishes from several nations.
  • Himeko and Theresa proposed a blind taste test as a penalty for losing rock-paper-scissors, and the group agreed to play.
  • When the game produced no clear winner, Theresa suggested using a die to decide who would get a bye.
  • Theresa rolled Guiji, a talking golden die from another worldline, and he landed on six while explaining that his powers had been sealed.
  • Columbina declared that Theresa had earned the bye and turned her attention back to tormenting Sandrone.

Ch. 994Columbina's feeding?

Theresa made Columbina and Sandrone play rock-paper-scissors without cheating, and Columbina won the right to feed Sandrone. Blindfolded, Sandrone endured teasing and discovered the food was harmless—until Columbina fed her spicy fish, leaving her furious and red-faced.

  • Theresa used her authority over consciousness to make Columbina and Sandrone close their eyes and play; Columbina beat Sandrone.
  • Columbina chose to feed Sandrone three drinks and two dishes as her prize, and Sandrone agreed to honor the bet.
  • Columbina stroked Sandrone’s cat ears while Sandrone wore a blindfold, making her embarrassed and annoyed.
  • Columbina fed Sandrone Sugar Frosted Slime, and Sandrone realized it was only food and relaxed.
  • Columbina fed Sandrone Boiled Black-Back Perch, which was too spicy for her, and Sandrone yelled at Columbina in embarrassment.

Ch. 995Black-Back Perch Stew? You've been poisoned~

Theresa’s meal and feeding game led Sandrone and Columbina, then Nefer and Rauma, through spicy food and pranks. Sandrone began experiencing strange feelings toward Columbina after eating the stew, while Rauma ended the chapter burning from Nefer’s fish prank.

  • Sandrone enjoyed the spicy Black-Back Perch Stew with Frosted Slime, then spat out Soda Bean Juice when Columbina fed it to her.
  • Theresa started the next round with Nefer and Rauma, and Nefer won their rock-paper-scissors game before blindfolding Rauma.
  • Nefer fed Rauma Sweet Flower Brewed Chicken while Sandrone happily paired the stew with Frosted Slime and Solesse.
  • Sandrone’s eyes grew hazy as she looked at Columbina with unexpected affection, making Columbina blush.
  • Nefer secretly fed Rauma spicy fish, then gave her Sprite, but Rauma kept burning and teared up.
  • The Great Void Lord - Guiji laughed as he watched the group’s playful interactions.

Ch. 996Was Aha sick?

Guiji realized that Aha had attached himself to Theresa to escape being consumed by chaotic Elation, which Theresa’s authority of Order could suppress. As the tea party continued, Himeko revealed that she was the Aeon of Corruption, and Columbina asked Theresa how to bring the intoxicated Sandrone back to her senses.

  • Theresa offered to give Guiji a new body after the tea party, and Guiji suspected she had conditions for him.
  • Guiji recognized Aha’s mask and deduced that Aha was sick, clinging to Theresa because her authority could restrain chaotic Elation.
  • Sandrone became intoxicated, hugged Columbina, and kept asking her for kisses while the others watched.
  • Guiji realized that Theresa’s authority of Order could restrain disorder, and Himeko revealed that she was the Aeon of Corruption.
  • Columbina asked Theresa how to sober Sandrone up, though she admitted she enjoyed Sandrone’s affection.

Ch. 997Guiji Got Seriously Stylish: Kids, This Isn't Funny...

Sandrone became unusually affectionate after eating Theresa’s boiled black-back bass, and Theresa explained that the dish had brought out Sandrone’s suppressed nature. Theresa then transformed Guiji into a bizarre figure with a stocking-clad foot in place of the hand above his neck, leaving him as everyone’s laughingstock.

  • Sandrone hugged and nuzzled Columbina, while Himeko recorded the scene and Lumine guessed the fish had caused her behavior.
  • Theresa explained that her boiled black-back bass could have varied effects and had freed Sandrone’s long-suppressed nature.
  • Guiji laughed at Sandrone, prompting Himeko and Theresa to decide to make him experience being someone else’s entertainment.
  • Theresa transformed Guiji so a small, stocking-clad pink foot replaced the hand above his neck, making everyone laugh.
  • Guiji begged Theresa to change him back as Aha laughed at his appearance, and the laughter began purifying the corrupted Path of Joy.

Ch. 998The Great Void Lord - Guiji: I Have Nothing More to Say. Please Get On with It.

Theresa and Himeko punished Guiji after revealing how he destroyed worlds and killed Himeko’s father to take his place. Guiji then claimed that the Himeko aboard the Express was an impostor, so Theresa brought Himeko and Old Yang to confront him.

  • Himeko used the Authority of Corruption to give the foot on Guiji’s head a grotesque face, and Theresa played footage of his past atrocities.
  • The footage showed Guiji destroying civilizations after befriending or courting their inhabitants, including killing his lovers and mocking the ruined worlds with smiling faces.
  • Theresa suspended Guiji and condemned him for killing Ryusuke Murata and raising Himeko in his place.
  • Guiji claimed that the Himeko aboard the Express had stolen his daughter’s identity and that his daughter had contracted the World-Painting Family’s weathering disease.
  • Theresa called Himeko, then used her authority over space to bring Himeko and Old Yang from Liyue to meet Guiji.

Ch. 999Himeko: This cup of coffee is exceptionally rare. Guiji should drink it!!

Himeko confronted Guiji over murdering her father, Ryouji Murata, and forced him to explain his plan. The chapter left Guiji writhing after Himeko made him drink her dangerous coffee.

  • Theresa revealed that Himeko was Murata Himeko and identified Guiji as the murderer of her father, making Old Yang visibly distressed.
  • Himeko demanded to know why Guiji had killed Ryouji Murata, and Guiji summoned a die to offer answers by chance.
  • Theresa and Himeko warned that they could control probability, while Guiji refused to cooperate until Himeko threatened him with her coffee.
  • Guiji confessed that he had planned to raise Himeko, destroy someone she loved, and then destroy Dual-Phase Paradise, simply because he wanted to.
  • Himeko forced the coffee into Guiji's mouth, and he writhed silently as it began to corrode him.

Ch. 1000Guiji's flashback

Himeko and the Stellaron Hunters tortured Guiji with God-Slaying Coffee while his memories revealed how he became a Great Void Lord and destroyed planets after befriending their inhabitants. Himeko explained how Suzi exchanged her life with Himeko’s to free her from the weathering curse, leaving Guiji to realize he had mistaken his daughter for an impostor.

  • Himeko, Theresa, and the Stellaron Hunters watched Guiji suffer from the specially spiked coffee, while Himeko’s pity faded as she recalled how he destroyed her family.
  • Guiji’s memories showed that he had once been Iken, a trusted Navigator who stayed with the Astral Express after Aqevili’s fall before eventually leaving it.
  • After returning as the Great Void Lord Guiji, he befriended people and fell in love on planets before revealing his identity, destroying them, and carving smiling faces into their ruins.
  • Guiji’s memories recalled his antics with Fenghuo and his mistaken belief that Himeko had died from the weathering curse.
  • Himeko told the others that she and Suzi had become close during the Phantasmoon Games, and that Suzi exchanged her life with Himeko’s to take the curse and let Himeko recover.
  • Guiji realized that Himeko had been his real daughter all along and that he had been fooled by his own mistaken assumptions.
