"Hm?" Noticing Durandal running over, Xu Yanwu sat cross-legged. Though he was tending to his wounds, he still opened his eyes to look.
"Durandal... so it was you."
Xu Yanwu said, "What? Did Otto send you? Has everything else been taken care of?"
"Yes."
Durandal nodded. "More or less. The Bishop said that once you've recovered enough, we'll return to London. He already has some leads on the whereabouts of the Second Divine Key."
"I see... all right. My injuries won't matter much after a little while longer. We'll leave together then." Xu Yanwu nodded.
Though he had suffered quite badly just now, hearing that there were no major issues with the Second Divine Key made Xu Yanwu feel a little better.
You could say it was his unwillingness to come away empty-handed.
Although Durandal said that, she was still rather curious. "How did you get so badly injured? Aren't you a god?"
"Gods can be injured too, young lady." Xu Yanwu showed Durandal the wounds on his body. "And gods bleed too."
"Oh..."
Durandal looked, then nodded.
Xu Yanwu's gaze then shifted from Durandal to... the cat tucked under her arm.
"Hm?" Xu Yanwu tilted his head.
What was with the cat under Durandal's arm, trembling like a massage device?
A new breed?
Why did this cat have traces of Honkai Energy on it?
"What's with this cat? Since when did you keep a cat, Durandal?"
Xu Yanwu was somewhat puzzled as he stared at Stan.
After Stan was spotted by Xu Yanwu, he began trembling even faster, as though someone had cranked him up another gear.
"Meow?!"
