After searching for so long, after finally finding someone who was still alive, Xingluo found herself growing nervous instead.
"I'm here to save you. Come with me, okay?" Xingluo swallowed nervously and held out her hand to the little girl before her.
The little girl looked at Xingluo timidly and asked, "Big sister, m-my mom and dad are outside... how are they?"
Xingluo fell silent. She did not know how to answer the little girl and could only keep holding out her hand. "Be good. Big sister will take you somewhere safe right now. Once we get there, you'll know where your mom and dad went."
Hearing Xingluo's words, the little girl hesitated. In the end, she extended her hand from beneath the blanket and placed it in Xingluo's palm.
But when the little girl reached out, the Honkai Energy corrosion patterns on her tiny arm made Xingluo's heart tremble.
Then, in the next moment, the cries of Honkai Beasts rang out from outside.
Faced with this situation, Xingluo could only scoop the little girl into her arms and rush out of the room. Even so, she did not forget about the girl's parents and covered the little girl's eyes with one hand.
The moment she rushed out of the room, a massive Honkai Beast smashed through the window behind her and entered the room with an angry roar.
Xingluo could only hold the little girl tightly and run out of the room.
But when Xingluo ran out of the house, she saw Honkai Beasts beginning to gather around her.
The little girl in her arms was already being corroded by Honkai Energy. Xingluo had to get her out of here quickly and find a doctor to treat her.
With that thought in mind, the chase began.
