The massive turret began gathering powerful energy, and it did so at an exceptionally rapid speed.

Almost as soon as Xu Yanwu had expressed his amazement at the turret's appearance, it had already finished charging.

"Have a taste of the turret made by Dr. Tesla!!!!!"

Inside the base, Tesla shouted this and once again slapped the turret's firing button.

Seeing Tesla press the fire button without hesitation, Ein cautiously asked,

"Dr. Tesla, Mr. Xu Yanwu is still an ally of Anti-Entropy. Isn't it a little inappropriate to attack him directly with an electromagnetic cannon?"

Ein's question only earned a snort from Tesla.

"Hmph, you helped study that guy's body tissue too. How could an electromagnetic cannon possibly hurt a monster like that?"

"If he's an impostor, that makes it even simpler. Anyone impersonating someone like him can't possibly be a good person, can they?"

Tesla spoke with impeccable logic.

Ein could only shrug helplessly. "Fine, whatever makes you happy."

"Still, it looks like this Mr. Xu Yanwu who came looking for us really is the genuine article."

As Ein said this, she watched the activity outside on the screen.

After the electromagnetic cannon's attack had struck, Xu Yanwu was still standing where he had been, without moving an inch.

He even wore a thoroughly comfortable expression.

"That monstrous physique... it really is that guy."

Dr. Tesla clicked her tongue heavily. "Why didn't it just blast that guy to death?"

At that moment, after absorbing the electromagnetic cannon's energy, Xu Yanwu discarded the excess and continued knocking on the door.
