Bot lane was undoubtedly the best choice—the Raise Big Brother strategy and all.
But if resources were too concentrated, even a Twitch Zilean combination could easily be targeted by the enemy, leaving them short on team fight damage. That made mid lane the most suitable choice.
With that in mind, Ning began paying attention to the state of mid lane after heading back out.
But...
369 made his move.
Roaming, locking on, activating his ultimate.
From all the way up in top lane, 369 chose to roam mid. The moment he noticed a flaw in Neeko's positioning, he decisively activated his ultimate. Knight did not disgrace his title as the Number One Mid Laner either. With an EQ Combo, he successfully knocked up FOFO's Neeko the instant Ornn activated his ultimate. The engage landed!
JDG had actually seized a slim opportunity from what had nearly been a dead end!
"It's over!"
The moment FOFO saw himself get knocked up, he knew something was terribly wrong. Ornn's ultimate followed right after, then Syndra's full combo. Even Vi made a brief appearance to show she was there, though she did not come over to Steal Assist. She was probably afraid of accidentally taking the kill.
That top-mid coordination off 369's roam let Knight secure Neeko's kill.
"My bad. I didn't realize right away that he had roamed mid."
It had been far too long since A Le had faced such a team-oriented top laner. 369 had actually let him take the turret while running off to GANK through the river. At first, A Le thought the enemy had merely gone to place vision. He never expected 369 to pull something that outrageous.
"Syndra's kill... damn it, we'd already triggered his Earthbound Spirit trait, and they still managed to spoon-feed him a kill?"
