The sound came from above the alley.

At Eileen's invitation, the two men entered her attic without much concern for propriety.
"Keep your footsteps light. Old Lady Griffin hates men the most."

Eileen shrugged and pointed at the floorboards.
Green nodded. Clearly, he already knew this. Eileen was probably explaining her living situation to Xu Nan.
