The Underestimated Chinese!

First Day had come early!

Xu Nan had never expected this.

His first reaction was—"Xin'er!"

According to Xu Nan's original plan, he had intended to bring Xin'er to the dungeon tonight. After all, Xin'er's situation was unusual, and communicating with her was quite difficult. Xu Nan had prepared countless arguments. If necessary, he had even prepared the Magic Animated Rope and Sleep Spell!

However, they required the cooperation of an Industrial Magician. Xu Nan had the authority, but not the skills of an Industrial Magician.

If Lü Junyi could not do it, Xu Nan would have to find another way!

He needed to bring Xin'er to the dungeon as quickly as possible! This was currently the safest place.

Lü Junyi stroked his scruffy stubble. "Of course I can. I'm the man Princess Vanessa took a fancy to!"

"But why are you in such a hurry?"

Xu Nan dragged Lü Junyi to Magic Tower Number Four. If he remembered correctly, the spells embedded here were all low-level. Even an Industrial Magician apprentice had a chance to activate certain spells with the captain's cooperation.

He began inspecting the magic array.

Xu Nan's heart beat a little faster. The reason he had not used Hagrid's Flicker Spell to return and find Xin'er was that it might have been too inefficient. After all, his Teleportation Spell could not take anyone with him!

No one knew how chaotic things were outside by now.

He had to bring Xin'er over safely by the fastest means possible.

The Short-Range Space Capture Technique actually placed high demands on the controller. It required the captain of the Cloud Ascending Ship and an Industrial Magician to work together; Xu Nan was currently playing the captain's role.

He needed to provide absolutely precise coordinates for the spell, since the navigation system had already broken down.

Fortunately, Xu Nan was extremely familiar with both his home and Xin'er's room. After the magic array activated, an overhead view of the nearby urban district suddenly appeared before him.

He swiftly and accurately located Xin'er's room!

Everyone followed the sound.

There, they saw an adorably cute young girl in pajamas, hands on her hips, pushing open the second-floor window and glaring furiously!

Xu Nan covered his face with one hand.

He had actually forgotten about that.

He had thought he could do it without anyone noticing, but he had underestimated the vigilance of an internet-addicted girl.

Xin'er's expression changed quickly. Seeing people rushing over from every direction and the changed scenery around her, her face gradually filled with shock.

Xu Nan raised both hands and greeted her from downstairs. "It's okay, Xin'er, I'm—"

The frightened girl slammed the window shut!

Xu Nan had called him back partly because he needed someone to talk Xin'er through it. Having Xu Nan explain the otherworld invasion to her himself would have been far too exhausting.

Xu Nan asked in surprise.

Shi Fanglin quietly tucked his beautiful hands back into his sleeves, his smile slightly stiff. "It's nothing."

"It's just that Veterinarian Lü has absolutely no idea how to trim nails."

"I'm beginning to suspect he bites off his own nails."

With Shi Sanjie helping explain things and educate her, Xin'er finally accepted these strange settings around dinnertime.

Her emotions were still unstable, though. In Shi Fanglin's words, it was hard for an internet-addicted girl to stay emotionally stable after suddenly losing her connection.

Fortunately, she obediently hid in her room, ate dinner, and went to sleep.

Xu Nan gathered everyone together and held a brief meeting, explaining the danger that might soon arrive.

Everyone was fairly willing to believe him. After all, they had all heard that announcement of "First Day."

Naturally, Xu Nan did not mention the prophecy he had seen. Instead, he used Caesar's message in a bottle as cover. Saying he had a friend from another world sounded more credible.

Over the next few days, he advised everyone to stay in the dungeon and watch how things developed.

After all, he had no idea how many monsters the Pro Gods had released or what kind of impact they could have on Earth as it was now!

As early as last week, he had begun stockpiling food. There was enough to last the group a month in the dungeon.

Everyone spent three incredibly boring days in the dungeon.

During that time, they played every board game they could and watched every old movie they could find, only to discover there were no signs of monster activity at all!

Today, Shi Fanglin had been responsible for buying food outside. After all, everyone was getting tired of instant food after three days.

They were not truly cut off from the world. Every day, they used their phones and found that everything outside was calm. It did not look like monsters had invaded at all.
