Second Pokémon

Three days had passed since Su Hao's battle with Li Hua and Jiang Chengcheng, and there were still more than half a month left before winter break ended.

Today, Su Hao and his father had arranged to travel together to Rong City, the city neighboring Yang City, to choose Su Hao's second Pokémon.

After the Su father and son had settled in, Charizard flapped its wings and activated Fly, releasing sky-blue Flying-type energy that wrapped around them as it swiftly soared into the air.

In this world, Flying Pokémon often used Fly to carry people and goods. Under the protection of Fly, there was absolutely no risk of the people or objects carried by Flying-type Pokémon falling. Unless, of course, the Flying Pokémon fell too.

Wrapped in Fly's Energy Shield, Su Hao could not even feel the slightest breeze reaching his face through the barrier.

It was his first time riding Charizard without any protective gear, so he had been somewhat worried. But once he was seated, he relaxed and even had the leisure to check Charizard's data.

Seeing all these taxis lined up neatly by the roadside, yet only a scattered few people riding them, Su Hao found it somewhat strange.

Not only did Dragonite look simple and adorable, but as a late-blooming Pokémon, its strength after completing its final evolution was extremely terrifying. Every Pseudo-Legendary that reached its final evolution possessed at least Professional Level Combat Power.

Cute appearance, formidable strength—Dragonite possessed every appealing trait and was incredibly popular in this parallel world, with fans all across the country.

At that moment, a Dragonite pulled a sign printed with a QR code from its messenger bag. It flipped the sign over and innocently pointed at the words on its back with a claw.

After all, they might not get a turn even by nightfall if they waited for a Dragonite Taxi. Since he was in a hurry to choose a Pokémon, Su Hao naturally did not want to waste time waiting here.

Soon after getting into the taxi, the father and son arrived at Rong City Breeding Center.

Rong City Breeding Center was an oval-shaped building of immense scale. It presumably contained vast spaces for raising different kinds of Pokémon.

After Su Hao's father led him into the Breeding Center, they headed straight for the reception desk.

Su Hao's father took out his phone and showed the QR code to the beautiful receptionist with exquisite makeup.
