A small group had gathered there, perhaps a dozen or so people. It was possible that they were not the entire group.
From their clothing, Xion could tell at a glance that they were most likely refugees. Unsure of what they intended to do, his expression grew solemn.
Yet reality was completely different from what he had imagined.
The man called Dulse studied him for a moment, then grinned. "Awake? Do you want to talk with us first, or go see the Ultra Beast that protected you?"
"...What did you do to it?"
Xion watched him warily, yet the fact that he was unarmed filled him with an unprecedented sense of helplessness.
Dulse stared at him for a while before shaking his head. "If we wanted to kill you, we would've thrown you to the Ultra Beasts during the three days you were unconscious. Come with me."
Dulse stood up directly and motioned that he would lead Xion there himself.
Xion fell silent for a few seconds, then followed him anyway.
His thoughts were in utter turmoil along the way. He worried about what had happened to Ultra Megalopolis, worried about Lunala's safety, and Su Hao's final words before he fell unconscious were practically enough to fry his CPU.
