Once, the Lord of the Reverse World, Giratina, was infamous among the gods.
It had a violent temperament and committed every evil imaginable, acting entirely on its whims.
Whenever it disliked someone, it would secretly open a hole behind them, drag them into the Reverse World, and use its "home-field advantage" and overwhelming strength to give them a brutal beating.
It was said that it had done the same to its two "brothers," the God of Time Dialga and the God of Space Palkia.
Back then, Articuno's elders had used this story to frighten young birds that had only just hatched.
They would say—if you misbehaved, Giratina would open a hole at night and abduct you.
Articuno could personally attest that it was true.
Only later did Articuno learn that the Moltres and Zapdos clans also used this story to scare their children.
But setting aside all those stories that were only frightening during childhood, some of the things mentioned in this tale did contain genuinely useful information.
Dialga and Palkia had indeed fought Giratina in the Reverse World an unknown number of times.
If that was the case, then the Reverse World was certain to contain remnants of their power.
The mysteries of time and space far exceeded imagination. Even though Origin Power had allowed Lucario to grasp this power, improving it was extraordinarily difficult.
Lucario's development of time-and-space power remained limited to simple time stops and Space movement. At least when it came to developing time-and-space power, its "Royal Family bloodline" was of little use.
But if it could find those remnants of power, perhaps it could gain some insight and further develop the immensely promising power of time and space.
The same went for Dragapult and the Dragapult siblings.
The Reverse World was the home territory of
