Su Hao's actions against Sableye were faithfully recorded and broadcast by drones equipped with high-precision cameras overhead.
Aside from a few leading powerhouses focused on their own Pokémon League teams' battles, most eyes were fixed on this screen.
"Well now, Champion Liao Xingchen, it seems your team member has failed." Khadanbaatar, the Fighting Elite Four of the Ulaanbaatar Alliance, looked at Liao Xingchen with undisguised schadenfreude. Liao Xingchen raised an eyebrow, wearing an expression that said, Go on, I'm listening.
The sight of that expression irritated Khadanbaatar. It had been the same last year: he had faced Liao Xingchen in the first round of the World Championship and been promptly sent home.

Khadanbaatar had only gotten halfway through his sentence when someone's startled cry cut him off.
"Is he going to fight an Elite Four Level Pokémon!?"
Khadanbaatar turned furiously toward the speaker and found that it was the leader of a very small Pokémon League.
Before he could cause trouble for the other man, Khadanbaatar swiftly looked back at the screen. When he saw what was happening, his furious expression froze, his mouth falling slightly open.
On-screen, Su Hao had failed to win Sableye
