Su Hao encountered Nika, a researcher fleeing Team Rocket’s operation on Mt. Moon, and learned that the thieves’ real target was the Clefairy clan and the Giant Moon Stone. The chapter left Team Rocket confronting Ash, Pikachu, and Mew nearby.

  • Dragonair hid in the Different Dimension and scared a man approaching Su Hao, who calmed him and made Dragonair apologize.
  • The man introduced himself as Nika, a researcher from the Cerulean City Science Museum, and asked Su Hao to contact the police.
  • Nika revealed that Team Rocket had used the stolen Evolution Stones and fossils as a smokescreen while targeting the Clefairy clan and the Giant Moon Stone.
  • Su Hao recognized Nika and asked whether Team Rocket’s leaders were the green-haired man and blonde woman from a wanted poster; Nika confirmed their appearance.

  • Two Team Rocket Grunts disguised themselves as Backpackers and planned to move the Giant Moon Stone after Headquarters personnel arrived.

Su Hao revealed himself to Jessie, Kasamatsu, and the Team Rocket group holding the Cleffa clan captive. He overwhelmed their Pokémon with his own powerful team, while noting that Rocket reinforcements had yet to arrive.

  • Kasamatsu realized the returning Yusaku was an impostor and challenged him to reveal himself.
  • Su Hao shed his Team Rocket disguise and announced that he had surrounded the group alone.

Su Hao prepared to stop Team Rocket Executive Lance from reaching Mt. Moon Plaza, where the Clefairy clan and Diancie joined him in building a powerful attack. As Lance’s helicopter approached, Diancie formed a golden Full Moon whose strength made Jessie and Kasamatsu fear for Lance.

  • Su Hao questioned the bound Jessie and Kasamatsu about Team Rocket’s target, then sensed that Lance was arriving by helicopter.

Su Hao and Diancie destroyed the Team Rocket aircraft as Lance arrived to seize the Big Moon Stone and the Clefairy clan. The aircraft crashed, but Lance survived and confronted Su Hao before Drake could arrive.

  • Lance flew toward Mt. Moon Plaza, confident that Jessie and Kasamatsu had secured the Clefairy clan and Big Moon Stone.
  • A grunt detected Diancie's low Elite Four-level Moonblast, and Lance sent his Gengar to intercept it.
  • Diancie’s Moonblast, strengthened with Radiant Power, weakened Gengar’s Shadow Ball and blasted through the aircraft’s barrier, destroying its tail.
