After Black Kyurem protected the city, Su Hao and his allies gathered above it with the restrained shadow, and he asked Diancie to demonstrate how to destroy it.

• Su Hao identified the pitch-black creature in the icy cage as Void Shadow and failed to get information from it despite several attempts.
• Diancie and Celebi returned from Ice King City and reported that the mist absorbed human negative emotions, while Celebi had put the affected people to sleep.

• Calyrex returned after removing the negative seeds from his subjects and offered to help Su Hao train his Pokémon.
• Su Hao summoned his team, and Calyrex sensed powerful legacies and abilities within several of them.
• Su Hao and Calyrex planned thirteen days of training, targeting Late Professional Level for most of the team and Professional Level for Leafeon and Metang.
