Ch. 641The First Rule of Being a Sneaky Bastard: Fish in Troubled Waters

On the third day of the Selection Tournament, Su Hao’s team fought amid the beast tide while secretly relying on the Sakura Nation Alliance and Zarude’s territory to control the battle. Su Hao planned to use the Resisters Alliance to weaken Zarude’s forces, then rely on Leafeon to help bring down Zarude without revealing his full strength.

  • Tachibana Mahiru and the Sakura Nation Alliance team let the other thirty-one teams face Zarude’s wild Pokémon while searching for the missing Aoi Erina.
  • The Divine Land Alliance members fought with coordinated roles as Su Hao sent Lucario, Metagross, and Leafeon through the beast tide.
  • Lucario used Teleport to fight freely, and several teams realized its battle might help it break through to Gym Level.
  • Cheng Liming and the others were stunned by Leafeon’s powerful Solar Blade and Sword Qi, while Su Hao explained through Aura that he was only pretending to slack off.
  • Su Hao predicted that the Resisters Alliance would soon reach Zarude and planned to use their battle to exhaust the wild Pokémon before attacking Zarude with Leafeon’s help.

Ch. 642Hahaha, I Won!

The Sakura Nation Alliance used Zarude to defeat the remaining Resisters Alliance teams and seize first place, but Tachibana Mahiru discovered that many points were still unaccounted for. The chapter ended as a huge group of wild Grass-type Pokémon emerged from the forest, revealing that the battle was not over.

  • Alliance leaders watched the raid’s devastation as Liao Xingchen defended the Divine Land Alliance’s concealed Grass-type Pokémon.
  • Su Hao and the remaining Resisters Alliance teams confronted Tachibana Mahiru’s group and Zarude after clearing out the wild Pokémon.
  • Zarude overwhelmed the attackers, and Tachibana Mahiru collected their wristbands to raise the Sakura Nation Alliance’s score to 2,080 points.
  • Atobe Sousuke noticed that the Sakura Nation Alliance was still missing points, and the Goryeo captain concluded that the Divine Land Alliance had hidden its strength.
  • Zarude and Tachibana Mahiru turned toward the forest as a massive group of wild Grass-type Pokémon revealed themselves.

Ch. 643This Sword Cleaves the Stars (3K)

Su Hao and his Grass-type Pokémon army battled Tachibana Mahiru’s team and Zarude, while Leafeon gathered their power and the energy of Aokigahara Forest for a devastating sword strike. The strike defeated Zarude and shattered Virizion’s Broken Horn, while Leafeon broke through to Gym Level; elsewhere, Full Moon announced the start of a brand-new era.

  • Su Hao gave the four members of his group a bag containing twenty-eight score wristbands, raising the Divine Land Alliance’s score to 330, as his Grass-type army arrived.
  • Tachibana Mahiru sent his Steel-type Pokémon and the other Sakura Nation Alliance members to attack Su Hao, while Zarude charged the Grass-type army.
  • Su Hao coordinated the battle and used Tokiwa Power to sustain Sableye, Mega Sceptile, and Torterra as they held Zarude back and Leafeon gathered Grass-type Energy.
  • Su Hao connected with Aokigahara Forest and poured its energy and his remaining Tokiwa Power into Leafeon’s sword, then cleared the other Pokémon from the strike’s range.
  • Leafeon struck Zarude, broke through its defenses, and sent Tachibana Mahiru’s group flying; its Broken Horn shattered, and Leafeon reached Gym Level.
  • At New Moon Cult Headquarters, Full Moon announced that a brand-new era was beginning as Aoi Sawaki watched with anticipation.

Ch. 644Tokyo Falls

After Su Hao’s team seized the points lead in Aokigahara Forest, a strange pinkish-gold phenomenon put Tokyo and its inhabitants to sleep. As the city fell out of contact with the outside world, Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki continued toward the forest, where Master Semin confronted them and challenged Cresselia.

  • Su Hao took Tachibana Mahiru’s points, putting the Divine Land Alliance far ahead of the Sakura Nation Alliance.
  • Su Hao’s team admired the night sky until Jin Lin noticed the moon brightening and pinkish-gold light began to spread across the sky.
  • Liao Xingchen lost phone service and saw pillars of light and pinkish-gold mist covering Aokigahara Forest and Tokyo before the Power of Sweet Dreams put him and Charizard to sleep.
  • Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki traveled through sleeping Tokyo toward Aokigahara Forest and planned to capture the Zarude Leader before the outside world discovered the crisis.
  • Master Semin confronted Aoi Sawaki, then sent his Master Level Ninjask to challenge Full Moon’s Cresselia.

Ch. 645But He Called Me Senior!

Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki advanced toward Aokigahara Forest after Cresselia subdued Cicada Ninja, while Su Hao and his companions were caught in a mysterious sleep-inducing mist. Marshadow hid Su Hao and his allies in the Shadow World as the Zarude Leader arrived, leaving Su Hao to ask Marshadow what was happening.

  • Full Moon told Cicada Ninja that Cresselia would become a Class One Legendary after taking control of the Sakura Nation Alliance, and Aoi Sawaki continued with her toward Aokigahara Forest under their agreement.
  • A pink-and-gold mist covered the battle ruins, putting Su Hao’s companions, Pokémon, Alliance members, and drones to sleep while Su Hao remained awake.
  • Marshadow emerged from Su Hao’s shadow, identified the mist’s source as Dream energy flowing toward a likely Class One Legendary Dream God, and warned that the approaching Pokémon was probably the Zarude Leader.
  • Su Hao recalled Leafeon and asked Marshadow to hide his companions, their Pokémon, and his Grass-type army in the Shadow World; Marshadow brought them inside before Su Hao followed.
  • The scar-faced Zarude Leader reached the ruins, found everyone asleep, and had the people and its wounded subordinate moved away as another Pokémon’s aura approached.
  • From the Shadow World, Su Hao watched the Zarude Leader leave and asked Marshadow what was happening.

Ch. 646Darkening

Su Hao and Marshadow discovered that Cresselia was undergoing Darkening and advancing toward Class One Legendary while it fought the Zarude Leader. Marshadow recognized something impossible in Cresselia, and Su Hao asked what was happening as the battle threatened to destroy Aokigahara Forest.

  • Marshadow explained that its Shadow World could shield them from the dream energy, and it and Su Hao went to recover Liao Xingchen.
  • Aoi Sawaki tried to make the Zarude Leader submit, but Zarude refused and prepared to fight Cresselia.
  • Su Hao and Marshadow entered the Shadow World and saw Cresselia's battle with Zarude devastating Aokigahara Forest.

  • Su Hao asked Marshadow what was happening to Cresselia.

Ch. 647Seven Star Soul Stealing Leg

Su Hao and Marshadow attacked Cresselia with the Seven Star Soul Stealing Leg, but she survived and began a deadly counterattack. As Su Hao prepared to summon Celebi, Reshiram awakened within his spiritual world and offered to help.

  • Marshadow gave Su Hao a Marshadow Z-Crystal and taught him the movements for his exclusive Z-Move.
  • Su Hao summoned Zarude’s help by using Aura, and Zarude bound Cresselia with tree roots to draw her attention.
  • Su Hao and Marshadow unleashed the Seven Star Soul Stealing Leg, severely damaging the battlefield but failing to defeat Cresselia.
  • Cresselia emerged from the crater with Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki, while Full Moon identified herself as the New Star Organization’s Sixth Seat.
  • Full Moon ordered Cresselia to unleash Psychic, and Su Hao prepared to use the Leaf of Time to summon Celebi.
  • Reshiram’s voice spoke in Su Hao’s mind and declared that it could carve a path for its contractor.

Ch. 648Your Will Shall Uphold Truth

Su Hao completed his contract with Reshiram, reviving the True Dragon just as Cresselia’s attack threatened to kill him. With Marshadow evacuating the humans and wild Pokémon, Su Hao and Reshiram took Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki into the sky to fight and learn about the New Star Organization.

  • Reshiram asked Su Hao what truth he would uphold, and Su Hao declared that he would expose Dark Matter’s lackeys.
  • Reshiram shared its memories with Su Hao and offered him everything it possessed as the contract’s final step.
  • Reshiram appeared before Cresselia’s incoming Psychic attack and burned it away with Blue Flare, protecting Su Hao.
  • Su Hao ordered Marshadow and the Zarude Leader to move the humans and wild Pokémon into the Shadow World.
  • Full Moon offered Su Hao a place in the New Star Organization, but he refused and promised to capture her and Aoi Sawaki for questioning.
  • Su Hao rode Reshiram into the sky to battle Full Moon and Cresselia, and Reshiram recognized Cresselia’s darkened state as evidence of a Dark Matter contingency plan.

Ch. 649Do You, Who Indulge Desire and Scorn Reality?

Reshiram told Su Hao that the corrupted Cresselia could only be saved by destroying the foreign dreams and faith consuming it, and Su Hao chose to let Reshiram burn them away. Reshiram revealed its full power, judged Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki guilty, and unleashed heavenly fire over Tokyo, whose survivors remained unknown.

  • Full Moon ordered Cresselia to unleash all its power, and the Pokémon darkened as dream energy and faith flooded into it.
  • Reshiram told Su Hao that Cresselia’s corruption could not be reversed, and Su Hao asked it to burn away the foreign dreams before Cresselia’s origin was consumed.
  • Pokémon Leagues around the world observed the battle and concluded that the combatants’ power was nearing that of Class One Legendaries.
  • Reshiram activated Overclock Drive and overwhelmed Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki with its Class One Legendary presence.
  • Reshiram declared Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki guilty of indulging desire and scorning reality, then summoned heavenly fire that engulfed Tokyo in Azure Flames.

Ch. 650Fear

Latios and Latias arrived at the Azure Flame barrier and entered Marshadow’s Shadow World to reach Su Hao. After Reshiram restrained Cresselia, Su Hao forced Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki to surrender information about the New Star Organization.

  • Latios and Latias found the Azure Flame barrier and worried that Su Hao and Little Mei were trapped inside.
  • Marshadow appeared and brought Latios and Latias into his Shadow World so they could reach Su Hao.
  • Reshiram controlled the Azure Flames across Tokyo while Su Hao confronted the hanging Aoi Sawaki and Full Moon atop Tokyo Tower.
  • Aoi Sawaki and Full Moon agreed to reveal what they knew in exchange for their lives.
  • Su Hao asked Full Moon to explain the ties among the New Star Organization, the R Institute, and the New Moon Cult, along with their members and locations, and she began speaking.

Ch. 651Clues

Su Hao interrogated Full Moon and learned how the New Star Organization operated, then killed Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki despite promising to spare them. Marshadow reported that Latios and Latias were waiting in its Shadow World and that the Sweet Dream Realm was fading, leaving Su Hao preparing to say farewell to Cresselia.

  • Su Hao forced Full Moon to reveal the New Star Organization’s base coordinates, the Ten Seats’ codenames, and what she knew about their operations.
  • Full Moon explained that the Seats mostly acted independently, identified Mr. R as the founder of the R Institute, and described how she had used Cresselia to spread Sweet Dreams.
  • Su Hao approached Full Moon and Aoi Sawaki, then killed them by dropping them onto the concrete below Tokyo Tower.
  • Marshadow emerged and told Su Hao that Latios and Latias were in its Shadow World and the Sweet Dream Realm was nearly gone.
  • Su Hao agreed to meet Latios and Latias before bidding farewell to Cresselia.

Ch. 652A Chance at Rebirth

Su Hao heard Latios and Latias’s plan to preserve Cresselia’s essence as she died, then left the three Dragon Gods to attempt it. He planned to return to his teammates and pose as an ordinary victim while secretly investigating the New Star Organization.

  • Latios and Latias proposed using the New Moon Feather to collect Cresselia’s uncorrupted essence, and Su Hao agreed to try.
  • Marshadow relayed that the Zarude Leader would conceal the disappearance of Su Hao’s Grass-type Pokémon army and might join him after his contract ended.
  • Su Hao and Marshadow arrived above Tokyo, where Reshiram’s Blue Flare was burning the dark Cresselia as her dream energy faded.
  • Reshiram approved Latios and Latias’s plan, and Su Hao handed Latios the Super Glove and New Moon Feather before leaving.
  • Su Hao decided to return to his teammates and Liao Xingchen as a supposed victim while secretly working against the New Star Organization.

Ch. 653Footage

Reshiram, Latios, and Latias gathered the Azure Flames covering Tokyo and compressed them into a Nuclear Cloud above Aokigahara Forest, while an invisible force restrained the blast. Search teams later found Tokyo largely undamaged, but Aokigahara Forest devastated and the New Moon Cult Headquarters destroyed.

  • Reshiram nodded to Latios and Latias, who Mega Evolved and formed psychic barriers as the Azure Flames converged toward Tokyo.
  • Hebi Garden Mengya and the crowd outside the Wall of Fire watched it thin and disappear, revealing that Tokyo and its buildings were unharmed.
  • The compressed Azure Flames formed a Nuclear Cloud above Aokigahara Forest, and the crowd fled before discovering that the shockwave had been restrained.
  • Hebi Garden Mengya and her cameraman reviewed their footage and spotted a blurry white Pokémon above Tokyo after the Nuclear Cloud disappeared.
  • On December 24, 2023, search teams found Tokyo largely unchanged, the New Moon Cult Headquarters razed, two bodies beneath Tokyo Tower, and most of Aokigahara Forest's vegetation gone.

Ch. 654A Brand-New New Moon Feather

After the Tokyo crisis, Su Hao learned that Cresselia’s power had been sealed in a New Moon Feather, giving her a chance to be reborn at an unknown time. Reshiram had recovered to full strength, and Su Hao prepared to meet the Rainbow Trial supervisor and speak with Marshadow.

  • Li Luoyan questioned Su Hao’s group about the Tokyo incident, and Liao Xingchen later recounted what had happened.
  • Xiao Zijian and the others read the news about Tokyo and speculated about the Azure Flames, the Nuclear Cloud, and a Legendary Pokémon.
  • Latios explained that he, Latias, and Reshiram had sealed Cresselia’s source power in a New Moon Feather that could serve as the foundation for her rebirth.
  • Su Hao put the New Moon Feather on a necklace and accepted that he could not yet determine when Cresselia would return.
  • Reshiram told Su Hao he had recovered to his peak and that the Rainbow Trial supervisor would soon visit about capturing a Grass-type Pokémon.

Ch. 655Caveman Mutation

Su Hao learned from Marshadow that the Island Guardians had taught it the Seven Star Soul Stealing Leg, giving him a clue about their whereabouts. He released Diancie, whose immense size and strange light-filled Overlord Aura stunned Marshadow.

  • Latias and Latios returned early to the Infinite Secret Realm because they feared for its safety.
  • Marshadow brought Su Hao the fifty Luxury Balls containing Grass-type Pokémon, and Su Hao checked them before storing them in the System Space.
  • Su Hao asked Marshadow about the Seven Star Soul Stealing Leg and learned that the Island Guardians had taught it the move.
  • Su Hao released Diancie, and Marshadow was astonished by its two-meter height, Overlord Aura, and overflowing light.

Ch. 656Diancie's Opportunity

Su Hao learned how Diancie could grow stronger by trading its Mega Stone with the Queen Diancie and seeking the Four Island Guardians in Hawaii. The group qualified for the Main Tournament’s top eight and flew home while the Sakura Nation Alliance dealt with Tokyo’s disappearance.

  • Marshadow told Su Hao that Diancie could trade its Mega Stone with the Queen Diancie for access to generations of inherited memories stored in the Sacred Diamond.
  • Marshadow said the Queen Diancie might live in the French Alliance and that the Four Island Guardians’ Secret Realms were likely in Hawaii State of the White Eagle Alliance.
  • Liao Xingchen and Li Luoyan announced that the team had eliminated every target, securing their advancement to the Main Tournament’s top eight as Asia First.
  • The group celebrated by lifting Su Hao into the air and tossing him several times.
  • At Narita Airport, Liao Xingchen explained that Tokyo’s disappearance had left the Sakura Nation Alliance too occupied to stop them, and the group boarded a flight back to the Divine Land Alliance.

Ch. 657Commission

Su Xu watched news about Tokyo’s Azure Flames and suspected they were connected to Su Hao and an undetectable Secret Realm above his home. In Imperial City, Su Hao accepted Li Luoyan’s commission to examine college entrance exams in exchange for crystals from the Northern Village Secret Realm.

  • Su Xu recognized Tokyo’s Azure Flames as identical to the flames Su Hao had used to extort money from him and planned to question him about them and the Secret Realm above their home.
  • After the meeting, Xiao Zijian and the other Trainers left to train for the Main Tournament, while Liao Xingchen returned to Alliance Headquarters to report on the Selection Tournament and Tokyo incident.
  • Li Luoyan asked Su Hao to serve as an examiner at an Imperial City college entrance exam venue for two days, offering a personal reward despite there being no official payment.
  • Su Hao asked Li Luoyan for a Victini Egg, then instead requested crystals from the Northern Village Secret Realm for Cycloze.
  • Li Luoyan agreed that he could obtain crystals without Terastal Energy, and Su Hao accepted the commission.

Ch. 658Reshiram vs. Zeraora

Su Hao summoned Reshiram to test Zeraora in the dream Trial, and Zeraora suffered a crushing defeat before Su Hao comforted it. A mysterious voice told Su Hao to go beneath the stone gate, then pulled him out of the dream as Zeraora was left behind amid a sudden tremor and beam of light.

  • Su Hao summoned Reshiram from the Light Stone to give Zeraora a battle and Trial.
  • Zeraora fought Reshiram but could not land a hit and was decisively defeated.
  • Reshiram refused to praise Zeraora, so Su Hao comforted it and promised to support its growth.
  • A mysterious voice told Su Hao that the truth awaited beneath the stone gate, and Su Hao began waking from the dream.
  • Su Hao vanished as pink light while Zeraora watched; the surroundings shook and a beam of light appeared before it.

Ch. 659Title-kun Ran Away! ( • ̀ω•́ )✧

Su Hao’s third Trial was marked complete without the expected encounter with Mesprit or Zeraora, leaving him unsure what had happened. At the Imperial City examination hall, he learned he would battle the entrance exam’s strongest candidates, but his Pokémon were too powerful to meet the new strength limit.

  • Su Hao woke from a dream to find Trial Three completed and a third Proof in the System Space, though Mesprit and Zeraora had not appeared.
  • Su Hao decided to wait until night to see whether he could reach the Electric Grand Canyon again, while considering plans to return to Yang City or travel to the White Eagle Alliance if he could not.
  • At the West District examination hall, Su Hao met chief examiner Xing Tiandao, who revealed he was the older brother of the opponent Su Hao had defeated in the finals.
  • Xing Tiandao explained that Su Hao was expected to challenge talented candidates, including some with Early Professional Level Pokémon, and that examiners could use Pokémon up to that level.
  • Su Hao told Xing Tiandao that nearly all his Pokémon were stronger than Early Professional Level and asked whether Pokémon below the required level could compete.

Ch. 660Dragonite: There's a Kidnapper

Su Hao prepared for his role as a College Entrance Exam examiner and received the Terastal Crystals Li Luoyan had sent. He resisted Dragonite’s attempt to flee his food and cuddling advances, then took Cycloze to test the crystals at a training center.

  • Xing Tiandao gave Su Hao an examiner outfit and ID after showing him the examination venue.
  • Dragonite delivered a box of Terastal Crystals to Su Hao’s hotel, then fled when Su Hao tried to tempt it with an Energy Cube.
  • Su Hao and his Pokémon opened the box and found four nearly energyless Terastal Crystals.
  • Su Hao stopped Cycloze from eating a crystal at the hotel and agreed to take it to a training center to test the crystals’ effects.
