Yveltal absorbed a shattered Dread Plate and began recovering as the Secret Realm collapsed, forcing Su Hao and the Legendary Pokémon to split their efforts between stopping the collapse and containing Yveltal. The group escaped into Viridian Forest, where Li Qingyi witnessed a terrifying black mist and several figures fall from the sky.

• Xerneas said it had slept as a tree near the Ore Kingdom to preserve the balance between life and death, while Zygarde’s cells monitored the world’s order.
• Xerneas recalled awakening to find the First Generation Queen Diancie worshipping it and introducing her friend, Yveltal, whose clear eyes made Xerneas stop gathering Fairy Energy.

Su Hao and Diancie learned that the present Diancie was a new individual born from the returning essence of the First Generation Queen. Xerneas and Celebi cautiously revived Yveltal with a small amount of Life Energy, and the Cocoon of Destruction hatched into a clear-eyed Yveltal.

• Xerneas explained that the present Diancie shared the First Generation Queen’s essence but had become a different individual without her memories.
• Xerneas said that reviving Yveltal might awaken either its former rampaging self or Little Y, the First Generation Queen’s companion.
• Celebi expanded a Time-Space Prison around the Cocoon of Destruction while Xerneas prepared a minimal amount of Life Energy.
• The Cocoon of Destruction’s black mist hesitated to consume the Life Energy until Xerneas encouraged it, then eagerly absorbed it.
• The Cocoon of Destruction hatched, and Yveltal opened clear azure-blue eyes and chirped.

Su Hao and Diancie discovered that Yveltal, now called Little Y, had returned to an infant-like state and clung affectionately to Diancie. Xerneas asked them to keep Little Y company while it prepared for an eventual battle with Zygarde.

• Little Y chirped, and Celebi fled after dismantling its Time-Space Prison, despite Xerneas assuring it that Little Y would not attack.
• Little Y recognized Diancie as its big sister, ran over, and affectionately nuzzled against it.

Su Hao answered the League’s call to confront a rapidly expanding Ultra Wormhole over Mingi City, where Ultra Beasts threatened the city’s power plant and defenders. He arrived ready to divide his Pokémon among the threatened areas while suspecting the incident might connect to the R Institute’s experiments.

• Shen Yun told Su Hao that Wang Anquan had been unable to contain the Ultra Beasts emerging from the wormhole, including a small one whose slashes could cut through Steel-type defenses.
• Su Hao said he had mostly recovered, accepted the mission as his duty as Champion, and flew toward Mingi City on Hisuian Braviary.
• During the flight, Su Hao recalled Mingi City’s links to the New Moon Cult, the R Institute, and research that could trigger Ultra Wormholes, and questioned the purpose behind the Institute’s experiments.

Leafeon arrived at the power plant and fought Kartana, while Su Hao’s Pokémon turned the tide against Ultra Beasts across Mingi City. Su Hao and Diancie reached the ruined city center, where several Guzzlord were devouring everything.

• Kartana sliced through Magnezone and threatened the defeated Trainers until Leafeon arrived and canceled its slash with an identical attack.
• Leafeon recognized Kartana as a fellow student of the Sword Path and engaged it in a fierce sword fight.
• Su Hao’s Pokémon confronted Ultra Beasts across Mingi City, including Milotic against Celesteela, Zeraora against Raging Bolt, and Incineroar against Pheromosa.
• Su Hao and Diancie arrived at the ruined center of Mingi City and found several Guzzlord devouring everything around them.

Su Hao arrived in Mingi City and helped Wang Anquan defeat the strongest of three rampaging Guzzlord with Diancie's Moonblast. A much larger, mid-Champion Level Shiny Guzzlord was emerging from the enormous Ultra Wormhole overhead as Wang Anquan thanked Su Hao.

• Su Hao assessed the three Guzzlord attacking Mingi City while Wang Anquan and his Pokémon struggled to hold them back.
• Su Hao spotted a gigantic Shiny Guzzlord emerging from the Ultra Wormhole, and Wang Anquan realized his team might not be able to stop it.
• Su Hao ordered Diancie to use Moonblast, badly injuring the Guzzlord fighting Mega Aggron.
• Wang Anquan sent Copperajah to support Mega Aggron, and they knocked the strongest Guzzlord Out of Battle while the other two were contained.
• Wang Anquan thanked Su Hao, who asked him to call him Su Hao and addressed him as Uncle Wang.

Su Hao sent Wang Anquan to help defend Mingi City while he faced the Shiny Guzzlord with Diancie, who entered Ultra Burst. Earlier, Blu and Lisa discovered that a Guzzlord was entering an Ultra Wormhole to an unknown space, giving them hope that a new world might help restore light to Ultra Megalopolis.

• Su Hao told Wang Anquan to handle two Guzzlord and assist the city while he fought the Shiny Guzzlord.
• Wang Anquan ran to the other battlefield, leaving Su Hao and Diancie to confront the Shiny Guzzlord.
• Diancie used Ultimate Burst and transformed into Diancie (Ultra Burst) as the Guzzlord crashed into Mingi City.
• In the Lightless Eternal Night Era, Blu and Lisa investigated an Ultra Wormhole in a ruined city controlled by UB:05 Gluttony.
• Blu discovered that the wormhole connected to an unknown space, and Lisa recalled Ultra Megalopolis's wish to see light shine on their world again.

Lisa and Blu crossed an Ultra Wormhole into a world filled with natural light, where they saw Su Hao and Diancie defeat a Shiny Guzzlord. They disguised themselves and went into hiding, while Su Hao captured the Ultra Beast and resolved to watch for the two unfamiliar auras he had sensed.

• Lisa checked their protective suits while Blu reported the discovery to the Elders' Council, and they jumped into the shrinking Ultra Wormhole.
• Lisa and Blu arrived in a ruined city, saw that natural light filled the world, and realized it had its own civilization.
• Lisa and Blu disguised themselves in local clothing and left to hide, while Blu recorded Diancie defeating the Shiny Guzzlord.
• Su Hao captured the defeated Shiny Guzzlord with a specially designed Poké Ball and recalled sensing two unfamiliar auras nearby.
• Su Hao asked Diancie to help sweep the area for remaining Ultra Beasts, and Diancie judged that it was nearing Champion Level.

After the Eclipse Ultra Wormhole closed, Su Hao shared his theories about its connection to earlier Pokémon rampages and proposed using captured Ultra Beasts to process waste. He reunited with his Pokémon and learned that Kartana had left a challenge for him in Ultra Forest.

• At 5:00 p.m. on July 27, the colossal Ultra Wormhole Eclipse closed, and the League planned to turn Mingi City's urban district into a fortified security zone and relocate its residents.
• During Miao Yin's conference, Su Hao linked Eclipse to the earlier Electric-type Pokémon rampage and urged the League to investigate similar incidents in other regions.
