Chapter Summaries

Su Hao met Shaymin in the Sea of Flowers and learned that the Ice Palace’s master had saved Shaymin’s clan from Pokémon Hunters. He went to the palace with Diancie and found Dragapult and the Dragapult siblings sleeping atop a mountain of treasure.

• Su Hao picked up Shaymin, and Diancie and Milotic scolded Incineroar after it frightened the little Pokémon.
• Shaymin told Su Hao that the Ice Palace’s master had rescued its clan from Pokémon Hunters and that the Shaymin now cared for the Sea of Flowers in return.
• Shaymin warned Su Hao that the palace master guarded a treasure-filled palace and had punished humans who tried to steal from it.
• Su Hao and Diancie decided to visit the Ice Palace, then walked there after leaving Shaymin behind.
• Su Hao entered the Ice Palace and found Dragapult and the Dragapult siblings sleeping atop a huge pile of treasure.

Su Hao woke Dragapult from a Nightmare and discovered that it had turned the Reverse World into a tourist attraction using his identity. Dragapult explained that it had entered the dream to protect its siblings from infiltrators, while the shadowy organization behind the attack decided to suspend its efforts in the Reverse World and pursue other targets.

• Patrol officers mistook Su Hao and his Pokémon for impostors until the Dragapult siblings recognized him and came to greet him.
• Su Hao used the New Moon Feather to dispel Dragapult’s Nightmare, and Dragapult joyfully clung to him after waking.
• The patrol officers explained that Dragapult had established the Dragapult Reverse Tourism Group using Su Hao’s identity, with Shen Yun managing the attraction.
• Dragapult told Su Hao that it had absorbed the Nightmare curse from its siblings and entered the dream to confront the infiltrators who had targeted them.

• Incineroar asked Dragapult whether the Reverse World was safe without them, and Dragapult explained that its Life Special Zone protected visitors from the world's rules.
• Su Hao praised Dragapult and examined the siblings' strength, noting that Dragapult's Reversal Authority could let them contend with a Class One Legendary powerhouse.
• Milotic carried the group toward the Divine Bird Sanctuary, and they spotted Fire Island, Ice Island, and Thunder Island.

• Dark Lugia unleashed black whirlwinds, but Su Hao stopped Diancie from attacking after noticing it had no Dark Matter.
• Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Hisuian Braviary combined their powers to suppress Dark Lugia, while Su Hao noticed that all of them were consumed by the same fury.

With Little Lugia close to losing control to Nightmare and Dark Element, Su Hao split the group: Diancie and several Legendary Pokémon stayed to save him while Su Hao, Articuno, and Hisuian Braviary headed to the World Tree for Cresselia’s revival ritual.

• Zapdos and Articuno recognized that Cresselia’s feather held some of her remaining essence, and Su Hao explained that its long stay in the Ultra World made her revival possible.

• Lucario captured a Dark Dream Council member and his two Pokémon, then knelt before the disguised Su Hao and recognized him as its returning Trainer.

• Jiang Yueluo explained that he was taking the freshmen to Wonder Garden so their Grass-type Pokémon could train in its life-rich environment.
• A swarm led by an Elite Four-level Beedrill confronted Jiang Yueluo, then allowed him and the students to pass after he explained their connection to the person the Beedrill respected.
• Senior Beedrill told Jiang Yueluo that intruders had slipped into the forest, and Jiang Yueluo agreed to go with the swarm to stop them.
• Jiang Yueluo led the students toward Wonder Garden, where they saw a sword slash cut through the air and clouds.

Leafeon defeated the Dark Dream Council’s attackers in Wonder Garden, and Su Hao arrived to reunite with it and discover it had become a Class One Legendary. The chapter ended with Su Hao recognizing the grown-up Jiang Yueluo, whom he had not seen in ten years.

• Leafeon used the Azure Sword to cut down the Dark Dream Council’s people and Pokémon without damaging Wonder Garden.
• Jiang Yueluo learned from Zarude that the attackers had planned to infect Grass-type Pokémon with Dark Seeds, and Zarude let him take the surviving humans for questioning.

Su Hao visited Kartana and helped it overcome its despair over failing to surpass Leafeon, prompting Kartana to rediscover its love of swordsmanship and awaken a fierce Sword Intent. He then traveled to the center of Viridian Forest to meet Xerneas, learned Diancie would reunite with her the next day, and noticed that Xerneas’s life energy was abnormally weak.

• Su Hao woke Kartana, caught its sword strike between his fingers, and provoked it into admitting its anger and despair.
• Kartana explained that repeated losses to Leafeon had convinced it that its talent and effort could never measure up, so it had abandoned sword practice and turned to drinking.
• Su Hao asked Kartana whether it pursued the Sword Path to become number one or because it loved the sword, and Kartana remembered the joy it once felt while practicing.
• Kartana regained its resolve to swing a sword for the rest of its life, releasing Sword Intent that shattered its cabin and startled Incineroar.
• Su Hao left God Paper Users Village with gifts and traveled with his Pokémon to meet Xerneas, explaining that Diancie was with Lugia and would return the next day.
• Su Hao asked about Little Y and Xerneas’s condition after noticing that Xerneas’s life energy was unusually weak.

Su Hao learned that Xerneas was weakening itself to keep Little Y’s Death Law under control, while Little Y and the old Yveltal known as Prisoner Y shared the Cocoon of Destruction. He entered their mental space to speak with them, leaving Xerneas to rest outside as he began considering how to resolve their fragile balance.

• Xerneas explained that sharing its vitality with Little Y barely maintained the balance of life and death and was steadily exhausting it.
• Su Hao followed Xerneas to a cave and used the Creation Authority to learn that Little Y and Prisoner Y shared Yveltal’s body, with Little Y suppressing its Death Law instincts.
• Su Hao asked to speak with the two Yveltals, and Xerneas waited outside while Leafeon and the others guarded it and tried to help it recover.
• Su Hao entered the Cocoon of Destruction’s mental space, where Little Y ran to greet him and asked whether Diancie had returned.
• Su Hao told Little Y that Diancie would see it within two or three days, but Little Y worried it could not control its instincts outside.
• Prisoner Y urged Little Y to accept its role in harvesting excess life, then tried to peck it before Su Hao’s golden light froze it in place.

Su Hao consulted Prisoner Y about Little Y’s dangerous Authority over Death and learned it could be temporarily transferred or contained. After Little Y awakened, Su Hao chose to have another Pokémon carry the authority, and Incineroar eagerly assumed it was the candidate.

• Prisoner Y suggested removing the Authority over Death from Little Y and temporarily storing it in a container or another living being.
• Su Hao returned from the soul space, and Little Y awakened from the Cocoon of Destruction asking for food.
• As Little Y ate, Su Hao explained Prisoner Y’s proposal, and the group considered the risks of sealing, containing, or transferring the authority.
• Xerneas said separating the original Yveltal from Little Y would be safest, but reviving it was too difficult under current conditions.
• Su Hao chose the third option and said he had a suitable Pokémon in mind, prompting Incineroar to eagerly volunteer.

Su Hao removed the Authority over Death from Little Y and sealed it inside Incineroar, allowing Xerneas to recover in Viridian Forest. He then traveled to the Arctic Circle to find Zeraora and Reshiram, where he discovered Zeraora battling Black Kyurem in a powerful new form.

• Su Hao received Arceus's and the World Will's consent, then traded Little Y a lollipop for the Authority over Death.

Su Hao reunited with Reshiram in the Arctic Circle and caught it up on his journey and the trouble brewing among humans. Reshiram interrupted Super Zeraora’s battle with Black Kyurem and tried to spirit Su Hao away, but Black Kyurem sensed something was wrong with Reshiram.

• Su Hao examined Super Zeraora’s strength as it fought Black Kyurem, then reunited with Reshiram when it arrived from the Arctic depths.
• Su Hao told Reshiram about Diancie reshaping the Ultra World, the companions he had gathered, and the problems he had encountered; Reshiram wanted to attack the humans responsible, but Su Hao persuaded it to follow his plan.
• Reshiram acknowledged how much Zeraora had grown and secretly diverted Su Hao by having Lucario teleport him to the edge of the Arctic Circle.

• Su Hao contacted Zeraora and told it to bring Reshiram and Kyurem to the edge of the Arctic Circle, but Zeraora rushed ahead to reunite with him.
• Reshiram and Kyurem arrived together, and Su Hao explained that he planned to gather their companions before setting out to liberate Reshiram and Zeraora's world.
• Kyurem asked whether it could join the mission, and Su Hao promised to call on it for help against Dark Matter.
• Su Hao invited Reshiram and Kyurem to accompany him to Sky Tower to visit Cycloze, and both eagerly agreed.

After ten years of recurring battles between Rayquaza and Miraidon, Mega Rayquaza’s fury put students at the Sky Tower in danger, and Su Hao arrived with Reshiram and Kyurem. Su Hao sent the two Dragon Gods to help Miraidon and drive Rayquaza back to the tower.

• Longdu University students gathered at the Sky Tower while Long Ningyan heard rumors about Groudon’s repeated battles with Rayquaza and reflected on Su Hao’s rise.
• Rayquaza Mega Evolved and attacked Miraidon with Draco Meteor, sending several meteorites toward the people below.
• Mega Lucario destroyed the falling meteorites and protected Long Ningyan and the students with an Aura dome.
• Su Hao appeared with Reshiram and Black Kyurem, and Long Ningyan and the crowd recognized the legendary Pokémon and their Trainer.
• Su Hao tried to calm Rayquaza, but it remained furious at Miraidon, so he sent Reshiram and Black Kyurem to help Miraidon and force Rayquaza back to the Sky Tower.
