Articuno told Su Hao that Dark Matter had used Pokémon from another world to invade theirs, and the chapter left him learning how the war escalated to include dark Legendary Pokémon.

  • Articuno emerged from his Master Ball, warned Su Hao not to release Diancie, and recognized the realm as the destroyed Spirit Realm.

Articuno told Su Hao how Arceus sealed away Dark Matter and exiled the Spirit Realm after a devastating war. In the present, Articuno discovered Su Hao was unaffected by the realm’s corrupting energy and decided they needed to escape.

  • Articuno recalled that the Ice, Fire, and Lightning Gods died fighting Dark Lugia, while Ho-Oh defeated Dark Groudon and Dark Kyogre at great cost.
  • Articuno explained that Arceus sacrificed nineteen Plates to destroy the dark Pokémon, seal the passage, and exile the shattered Spirit Realm.
  • Su Hao realized he could not access his system interface or inventory while trapped in the Spirit Realm.

Ch. 176Here Is the Battlefield Under My Command!

Su Hao and Articuno found a hidden teleportation passage in the Spirit Realm and used it to escape. They arrived in a dim Secret Realm, where Su Hao confidently declared it his battlefield, while the chapter ended with shadowy figures crossing the abandoned altar they had left behind.

  • Articuno explained that a one-way passage Palkia had created could take them out of the Spirit Realm, and Su Hao agreed to follow him there on foot.
  • Su Hao asked where Giratina had gone, and Articuno admitted he did not know and thought Giratina might be away for years or decades.
  • Articuno led Su Hao through rocks to a concealed altar, and they activated its passage by standing on it.
  • The altar's light grew into a pillar that transported Su Hao and Articuno to a dim place Articuno suspected was a Secret Realm.

Ch. 177Where Am I?

Su Hao and Diancie explored an unfamiliar forest after a random teleport left them without phone signal or a way to identify their location. They sheltered from a violent storm in a Rock house Diancie built, where Incineroar heard someone knock at the door.

  • Su Hao checked his phone, found no signal and a broken clock, and decided to investigate their surroundings.
  • Diancie flew above the forest and spotted Rock mountains to the north, so Su Hao followed her in that direction.
  • As a storm approached, Diancie raised a small Rock house for them to shelter in.

Ch. 178Ophelia

Su Hao woke after Incineroar heard knocking at Diancie's stone house, while Ophelia and Smith encountered a strange rainbow-colored dome in the forest on their way to Electric Grand Canyon. After the dome vanished, a huge black shadow dropped from the sky toward them.

  • Incineroar woke Su Hao because persistent knocking outside the stone house frightened him, and Su Hao prepared for a possible Pokémon prank before opening the door.
  • Ophelia cursed the unexpected rain and blamed Director Elus for a faulty weather forecast as she and Smith continued toward Electric Grand Canyon.

  • Smith knocked Ophelia into a puddle and ordered the two Electabuzz to strike the giant bird with Thunderbolt.
  • The injured bird flew away, and Smith treated the claw wounds he had taken while protecting Ophelia.
  • Ophelia found Su Hao's stone house and asked him to shelter her and the injured Smith.
  • Su Hao welcomed them inside after sensing their sincerity and learned that they had two Gym Level Electabuzz guarding them.
  • Su Hao asked whether they were in the Beautiful Country Alliance, and Ophelia and Smith confirmed they were in America.

Ch. 180Since We're Here

Su Hao found himself stranded in the Beautiful Country Alliance and arranged to borrow Smith’s phone so he could contact Su Qing. While Milotic treated Smith’s wound, Ophelia described the enormous, four-eyed bird Pokémon that had attacked them, leaving Su Hao wondering what it was.
