Chapter 27: Playing the Part to the Fullest

"Hmph, forget it, it's nothing."

Yukino couldn't be bothered to argue, since her seating position was off to begin with.

To Class A, the Villain Alliance's attack six days ago was just an accident. None of them truly realized they'd have to face thousands of enemies. To prove this wasn't a fluke but one of many future events, All Might decided on this test.

Yukino didn't take the ketchup. Instead, she jumped down from above and said, "If we're going to act, let's make it real. Just attack me directly. A little injury is fine."

"How can I do that?"

"My ability grows from getting hurt, doesn't it? That explosion last time was quite pleasant... pfft, it was agonizing, but a little injury is nothing. As long as you don't go overboard, I can take it." Yukino was worried All Might might punch her senseless, so she added a warning.

As he spoke, he bent down slightly.

Following them out, she saw that Kyoka Jiro and Yuga Aoyama had already been rescued.

Held in one hand, Yukino took a few deep breaths and finally recovered from the sudden shock. Then she replied, very annoyed, "Stop calling me 'young lady.' It makes me feel like I'm actually a girl."

She didn't notice that, after she said this, Shoto Todoroki, held in the other hand, secretly glanced at her.

A terrifying shockwave instantly blanketed the area for hundreds of meters, sending buildings crashing down in thunderous ruin. When the dust cleared, nothing remained but an empty crater.

Smoke filled the air, and everyone coughed harshly. When they could finally see clearly again, they were completely dumbfounded.

"How is that possible?"

"What the hell is this? How strong is he? Was a monster like this hiding here all along?"

Amid the terrified shouts, All Might nodded in satisfaction. "Good. The area's cleared. I won't let a single one of you escape."

"What? No way! Everyone, run!" 13 shouted at the crowd, playing her part—though it was painfully obvious.

Yukino, feigning death while slung at his waist, broke into a cold sweat.

Unless you saw it with your own eyes, you could never truly grasp that kind of power. And the fact that All Might could pull off such a convincing villain act was unbelievable.

In the midst of everyone's shock, Katsuki Bakugo bared his teeth in a savage grin and roared, "You guys run if you want. I'm the one taking this bastard down!"

With a furious yell, the golden-furred monkey (or hedgehog?) charged headlong at All Might without hesitation.

Chapter 28: Training Ends

"Die!"

A hoarse roar tore from Bakugo's throat as his clawed hand shot toward All Might, aiming for a fatal blow.

But the next moment... All Might hoisted Yukino up and used her as a shield.

"I..."

Yukino stared blankly as Bakugo's monkey-like face closed in, her expression utterly stunned.

Just as his palm was about to detonate, Katsuki Bakugo slammed on the brakes, halting mid-motion, and cursed viciously, "Get out of the way!"

He'd almost hit her.

"Idiot. Still worried about protecting your teammate?" All Might kicked out hard, sending Bakugo flying.

He was clearly testing Bakugo—seeing what he'd do in a critical moment.

The result was gratifying. No matter how hot-tempered he usually was, when faced with danger, this guy would rather put himself at risk than harm a comrade.

"You coward! Using someone as a shield—what kind of crap is that?" Bakugo snarled and charged again.

All Might shifted Yukino under his other arm, freeing a fist to block Bakugo's attack.

That left Yukino and Shoto Todoroki, still dangling below, staring at each other.

"Whoa~"

Yukino spat out blood.

Shoto was silent for a few seconds, then said, "You said it was ketchup."

"It really is ketchup. Want a taste?"

Chapter 29: The Hero, holding back at every turn, still easily repelled Bakugo. But the boy refused to give up, launching attack after attack despite being knocked back repeatedly.

Maybe he set the example, because the entire Class A lost their fear and charged in one by one.

Momo Yaoyorozu's cannons, Mina Ashido's acid, Sero's tape... working together, they hit All Might from all sides.

"Too weak!"

All Might's body erupted with overwhelming force, sending everyone who'd rushed him flying in an instant.

They were blasted in every direction by the shockwave, truly feeling the terror of the enemy before them.

After huddling with them for a quick discussion, the moment Katsuki Bakugo created a smokescreen of explosive black smoke, Tsuyu Asui used her tongue to launch Izuku Midoriya into the air. Then, using the sticky Pop Off grapes from Minoru Mineta's head, he latched onto Yukino and Shoto Todoroki, yanking them both out.

Rescue successful.

"Smash!"

The instant he landed, Izuku spun around with flair, extended a finger, and fired off a ONE.FOR.ALL at All Might.

That attack clearly wasn't enough. Bakugo followed up immediately, striking with full force, finally sending All Might's body flying—straight onto a rock that had been prepped and coated with sticky Pop Off grapes.

"Pfft, this—"

All Might was stuck like a fly, struggling to pull himself free but unable to budge an inch.

"Great job, Deku—we won!" Ochaco Uraraka saw this and ran excitedly over to Izuku.

"Yeah, it's all thanks to everyone." Izuku Midoriya let out a sigh of relief, but the next moment, he noticed Yukino on the ground. His heart tightened, and he rushed over in concern.

"Su Lin, are you okay?"

"Don't hug me!" Yukino stepped back half a meter nervously, her eyes sharp with caution. "I'm not g??a?y."

"Uh..." Izuku froze in place, his outstretched hands stiff in midair. A few seconds later, he scratched his head awkwardly and stammered, "That... I didn't mean it like that. I was just really worried about you."

"Look at poor Shoto Todoroki over there, all alone—and you don't even bother to check on him? You're just staring at me?"

This accusation left Izuku deeply embarrassed.
