The Hospital with a Bizarre Tone
As time passed second by second, the sky gradually darkened.
Yukino, bored out of her mind in the hospital, first downloaded a few light novels. When she found their contents painfully uninteresting, she switched to playing some casual games.
During that time, the hospital's atmosphere gradually became strange as well.

Amid the system's notifications, Yukino Yukinoshita got out of bed and walked to the ward entrance. When she looked outside this time, she found that the corridor had become reminiscent of an old hospital from the last century. The lightbulbs above flickered now and then, while her own skin looked especially pale and sickly in such a setting.
"Mm, I look kind of pretty."
Looking at herself in the old mirror, she was so beautiful that she seemed almost bewitching.
"What is this...?"
Just as she was about to ask the system what was going on, a woman in doctor's clothing suddenly went mad in the fourth-floor corridor above and rushed forward to bite a female nurse on the head.
The scene immediately became a bloody mess.

One was a man in an ordinary black jacket and a pitch-black round cap. The other was a woman in ordinary jeans, seemingly in her twenties, with an exquisite silver handgun at her waist.
"A hospital?" The man in black opened his eyes and immediately muttered.

To her surprise, the man used the photos of patients in the records along with their dates of death to successfully deduce the safe's password and safely reach the second floor.
The whole process took less than five minutes.
"Damn, a genius?" Yukino was utterly impressed.
Two female nurses who had turned into Ghosts wandered around the second-floor corridor.
The man carefully led his teammate around the nurses' line of sight and entered a room.
However, when they approached the bed, a shriveled, grotesque hand suddenly stretched out from beneath the blanket and grabbed the woman traveling with him.
"Ah!"
The woman let out a startled cry and frantically raised her weapon to fire, only for the man to stop her.
"Don't panic. It might be a clue."
Under her terrified gaze, the man slowly approached the bed and carefully lifted the blanket, revealing an elderly man with sunken eyes and a skeletal body.
Yukino frowned slightly.
When she had been admitted, she had heard that there was an old man in the oncology department downstairs who was close to death. He was hooked up to an IV and unable to move at all. Was this him?
"Sir, could you let go of her hand?" The man raised his blade and asked cautiously.
"She... my... granddaughter... Tell her to come down." The old man opened his mouth with difficulty, looking extremely weak.

"She... is upstairs."

The two sides fought. After sustaining several wounds, they finally reached the third floor, Yukino's floor, and escaped the danger below.
"That's why I hate Supernatural Instances. They're seriously terrifying." Recalling what had just happened, the man could not help shaking his head with a bitter smile.
Meanwhile, Yukino, in the ward, stroked her chin and roughly guessed, "From what that old man said, it seems his so-called granddaughter is me."
There was nothing on this floor except her, all alone.
