Just then, the red-clothed cat girl cleared her throat and pointed at the forest below the cliff. "This whole area belongs to us. Your lodging is at the foot of that mountain over there."
"That's so far away!" Kirishima and the other boys exclaimed.
Then, under everyone's stunned gazes, Yukino rushed to the cliff's edge without hesitation and resolutely jumped down.
"Sorry, I'm jumping first. See you!"
"Huh? Su Lin-chan, why did you suddenly jump off a cliff?" Midoriya stared in disbelief at Yukino as she fell headfirst.

"Hey, hey, Monster Forest? What's with a name straight out of Dragon Quest?"
Only after her reminder did everyone finally take notice of the impossibly dense forest before them.
Every tree was dozens of meters tall, and the environment within was terrifyingly dark. One glance gave it a deeply fantastical feeling.
"Forget it. There's no point talking now. Let's move out." Kirishima brushed the mud off himself as his arms entered their hardened state.
Just then, the ground shook violently. A gigantic creature over twenty meters tall emerged from the shadows of the trees and snapped a huge tree in half with one swipe.
"Waaah!"
Mineta, who had been holding in his pee until he could barely stand it and was just about to pull down his pants, was so terrified by the monster that he wet himself on the spot!
The clueless Midoriya rushed forward and grabbed him, leaping to the side and barely helping Mineta avoid the fatal blow.
Then he sniffed and caught a disgusting reek of urine.
Throwing Mineta aside, Midoriya turned toward the enormous monster. "These things seem to be made of mud. That's American Shorthair's Quirk."
"American Shorthair... is that her name?"
Yukino Yukinoshita frowned. Seeing the surrounding Class A students all charge forward, she immediately rushed into the woods as well.
A huge Clay Beast swung down a tiger-like claw at her. She deftly rolled to the side and easily dodged the strike. Then Rikka behind her activated the Evil Eye and shouted, "Absolute Darkness Sword!"
A black greatsword over ten meters long descended from the sky and crashed into the massive beast. Amid a storm of pitch-black energy, countless chunks of earth shattered inch by inch and clattered to the ground.
"Darkness?" Fumikage Tokoyami, who was fighting nearby, perked up and turned to look at Rikka.
But before he knew it, the monster's paw came crashing down and sent the distracted him flying.
"Idiot."
Seeing Tokoyami flying toward her, Yukino lightly jumped and caught him with one hand.
Slightly embarrassed, Tokoyami steadied himself and "blushed," then coughed dryly. "Thank you."
"No need to thank me. I would have saved anyone." Yukino smiled.
There were truly many beasts in this forest. Most of the other students dealt with them in cooperation, while only Todoroki, Bakugo, Iida, and Midoriya had the ability to easily defeat opponents one-on-one.
By comparison, Su Lin was a two-person team all by himself.
Yukino could practically break a monster's leg with one punch, while Rikka could provide support in addition to unleashing powerful attacks. Their combination was like a mage and a tank!
Well, it was admittedly a little tragic. Yukino was limited by her physique and still needed to grow stronger. For now, all she could really do was help Rikka block damage.

But Su Lin occasionally helped other classmates while mostly fighting alone. The coordination between himself and himself was often even better.
Along the way, Rikka flew into the air to deal with nearby airborne beasts and scout the ground, while Yukino blocked attacks and struck at vital points. She discovered that different beasts had vastly different combat abilities. Some could be killed with one punch using her own strength, while others needed multiple follow-up attacks. Generally, the bigger the monster, the more frightening its destructive power.
Still, larger creatures were slower. Everyone advanced almost without injury and finally crossed the forest to reach their destination after some time.
And by then... it was already dusk.
"I'm exhausted! What happened to three hours?"
Kirishima trudged out step by step, panting furiously.
"It means we need that much time. Sorry." The green-clothed American Shorthair smiled.
One pitiful student after another collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.
Poor Mineta had not only wet his pants, but blood was also streaming down his head.
Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Midoriya, Bakugo... it seemed none of them were in good condition. They had either exhausted their stamina or overused their Quirks.
Because Rikka's duration was too short, and her three summons had all been used against powerful enemies, the battered Yukino was being supported forward step by step by Sister Doma.
