The only branch that did not enter the Screen World.
Chang Sheng was anxious.
After Chen Hansheng died, Hou Guisheng took over. Given his record and his performance in the Fifth Manager Mission, no one dared voice any objections.
In particular, his feat of leading the employees in an assault on the four-star rank had earned the wholehearted approval of the staff.
But this time, Chang Sheng truly could not see through Hou Guisheng's intentions.
Chang Sheng was considered a veteran employee at Branch No. 3. Though over forty, he had a fiery temper, exploding at the slightest provocation, and his words were unpleasant to hear. As a result, he was not well liked in the branch.
Still, his abilities spoke for themselves, and he held the position of Vice Branch Manager. This time, he had accompanied Hou Guisheng on the mission.
Yet ever since the mission began, Hou Guisheng had remained still. As the other branches spent longer and longer inside the Screen World, Chang Sheng could no longer hold himself back.
Facing the figure smoking by the windowsill, he asked in a low voice:
"Old Hou, it's been over two hours. What exactly are you thinking? Can you give me a straight answer?"
Hou Guisheng stood by the window, a cigarette pinched between the fingers of one hand while the other absentmindedly toyed with a lighter in his palm. His gaze rested on the distant horizon.
Hearing Chang Sheng's words, his expression remained unchanged as he softly replied:
"Stay calm, stay calm."
Chang Sheng was not particularly close to Hou Guisheng. Though he admired the man's abilities, his words were far from polite:
