Just as the seven of them fell into thought over Wei Guang's analysis, a voice suddenly came from White Wolf's corpse.

"It's them!"

The voice came abruptly and eerily, and it sounded exactly like the dead White Wolf.

The other seven immediately focused all their attention on the corpse, especially White Wolf's face, with faint anticipation, as though waiting for the dead man to offer a new breakthrough.

What came, however, was certainly no clue, but another distortion of the light and a dizzying haze.

Ji Li's brain briefly stalled. His thoughts ground to a halt as he looked at White Wolf's face, followed immediately by a splitting headache.

The pain seemed to come from the depths of his soul. He instinctively pressed a hand to his head, but there was no injury anywhere, and yet he could do nothing to dispel the pain surging through it.

In this renewed daze, the scene seemed to change again within his blurred vision.

The spacious, brightly lit auditorium had been replaced by a cramped, crowded room. Light was pitifully scarce, with only a dim yellow glow cast from one side.

Fortunately, the pain did not last long. When Ji Li opened his eyes, he was sitting in a soft, comfortable armchair. Before him stood a mahogany desk bearing several books, a Feather Pen, and a few miscellaneous objects.

Most conspicuous was an envelope placed in the very center of the desk, bearing a sentence in both Chinese and English:

"Open at the appropriate time."

"White Wolf?!"

Clyde's shout drew Ji Li's gaze away from the desk and toward the room as a whole.

Obviously, this was a Study Room, and it contained so many books that all four sides were walls of stacked volumes.
