The moment White Wolf entered the Third Floor, he immediately sensed that this place was different.
An unimaginable battle had taken place here. It was as though the entire floor had been struck by artillery shells; shattered glass, collapsed plaster, and pulverized equipment lay everywhere.
Even nearly a third of the ceiling had caved in, forming natural barriers with large sections of fallen walls. Half of the Third Floor had become ruins.
But clearly, the incident here had happened some time ago. The air was still murky, yet it did not obscure vision as badly as expected.
Under the powerful beam of his flashlight, he could basically make out the ruined layout of the Third Floor.
White Wolf was alarmed. He had been lingering upstairs, but not for very long—only around twenty minutes.
"Li Gu? Or Meng Xian? Or the five people who had originally been circling around on the Sixth Floor?"
That shouldn't have been possible...
Judging by the state of the ruins, this catastrophic destruction should have happened on the Third Floor when White Wolf stepped onto the Seventh Floor.
Li Gu and Meng Xian had initially stayed on the Seventh Floor. Even if they had fled downward and run into ghosts, they could not have done all this in such a short time.
The five-person team led by Liu Qian, however, matched the timeline.
If that group had encountered an incident immediately, causing someone to flee straight to the Third Floor and destroy it with a destructive Sin Object, then the timing did make sense.
But why had the ten-person team been split into three groups—White Wolf and Wei; Mu Xiaohui, Li, and Meng; Liu Qian and the other four?
The groups had been divided strictly according to overall strength, which was why their numbers were uneven.
