The reason was that the house was much tidier than it had appeared last time.
For example, the cracks in the walls had been covered with dark-green wallpaper.
The shoe rack by the entrance was no longer open-fronted, but had sliding doors instead.
The most frequently worn large and small pairs of women's sneakers were still there, but a pair of men's leather shoes had been added.
The biggest change was the wooden board above the entrance.
It had once held Ruru's Father's portrait, a photograph that had been overexposed.
This time, however, it was completely different.
Just as Ji Li had seen in the preview nightmare, it now held a normal photograph.
An ordinary man, in an ordinary memorial portrait.
It could be said that although the room was still the same room, it now had far more signs of life and traces of daily living.
The only point
