Ji Li lit his third cigarette. The situation in the Supernatural World had settled.

As the ghost, he would have to make a move.

He could kill one person, two people, or all of them.

Bao An's plan had saved him considerable effort, though, so he could hold back for now.

Instead, Ji Li considered Hou Guisheng.

Before this, Hou Guisheng had been unknown. After this, his name would likely spread throughout Heavenly Sea.

From Bao An's perspective, his plan was nearly flawless.

But he had overlooked the most important thing—or rather, he could not yet see things on that level.

And Bao An was already a master at manipulating them.

He had set up a two-layered scheme that accounted for both humans and ghosts.

For the humans:

He had driven Teng Shan into a corner, betting that Teng Shan would use the Head Alarm Clock to trigger a supernatural incursion.

Inside the Supernatural World, Teng Shan would kill Tian Xiao Ou. Then Bao An would "come back from the dead" and clean up.

For the ghost:

Teng Shan's Supernatural World would leave Hou Guisheng isolated outside it.

Unable to enter, the ghost could only target the lone living person.

Hou Guisheng had neither a flashlight to protect him nor anyone to help him. He was certain to die.

In so little time, Bao An had devised a meticulous, seemingly inescapable plan to eliminate every other branch manager and deal with the ghost in one stroke.

Bao An deserved to be called a brilliant strategist.
