Thoughts on Going Premium

It was time to go premium.

When I started this book, I'd planned to write "Bleach: The Strongest Flash Blossom." Unfortunately, its early performance was poor, so I deleted everything and rewrote it as the current "In Bleach, Starting with Unlimited Blade Works."

The big shots from the same batch were all very strong, and in terms of recommendations, this book only made it to the second round.

I'd originally expected to go premium on November 1st, but my editor contacted me this afternoon and asked me to launch tomorrow instead. They said they'd arranged another recommendation slot for me, for one more PK round. Many thanks to Fox.

Now that the nonsense is out of the way, let me talk about the plans after going premium.

As for subscriptions, that depends on how much everyone likes it. After all, there are only a little over seven thousand bookmarks. At a ten-to-one bookmark-to-subscription ratio, that would only be a little over seven hundred subscribers—possibly even fewer. It's not like fifteen- or twenty-to-one ratios don't happen, so I won't set any goal like extra chapters for a certain number of first-day subscriptions. I'm afraid of getting slapped in the face.

After going premium, each chapter will increase from two thousand words to three thousand words.

On the first day, there will be five chapters, totaling fifteen thousand words. Three chapters will be released consecutively at noon, one at 2 PM, and one at 6 PM.

After that, there will be one three-thousand-word chapter at noon every day, another three-thousand-word chapter at 2 PM, and a four-thousand-word chapter at 6 PM, for a total of ten thousand words.

After all, I probably won't be able to get the premium badge, but I'd still like to try for the badges for updating heavily
