"Hit-Girl!"
Li Congxin had gradually grown accustomed to the different names his teammates went by. He simply called them by whatever identity matched the clothes they were wearing.
Only that way could he avoid exposing someone because of a slip of the tongue.
Otherwise, if Daredevil was out fighting for justice and someone called him Matthew, wouldn't that blind lawyer be finished?
Hit-Girl, who had been doing high kicks and light steps, froze the moment she heard Li Congxin's voice. Her raised right leg remained suspended in midair, leaving her in a rather comical pose.
Maintaining that difficult posture, she turned her head to look at Li Congxin, who was sitting upright in the snow, and awkwardly smiled. "Big Brother Clark, aren't you cold?"
"Don't change the subject!"
With a stern face, Li Congxin said, "Didn't I tell you not to go out casually for a while, and especially not to act as Hit-Girl?"
Hit-Girl gave a dry laugh, lowered her raised right foot, turned around, and said with feigned calm, "I only went out to train. You know that martial arts need constant practice. Otherwise, when it's time to actually fight someone, if I get rusty, that could cost me my life."
Yeah right. You little brat, you're slippery as an eel!
With a cold snort, Li Congxin's gaze fell upon the katana in Mindy's hand. "You went out to train and came back with a katana? Wait, this sword looks familiar. Let me see it..."
Mindy could only obediently step forward and hand the sword to Li Congxin.
Taking the sword, Li Congxin found it increasingly familiar. With a "clang," he drew it from its sheath. The blade was bright as a mirror, and when he casually swung it twice, it gave off a faint sound of wind
