Beinz Blood Lake was a holy site of the Radiant Church. Along the lake shore, the Church Knights' Order had established guard posts at regular intervals. After obtaining permission from the Church, outside adventurers and mercenaries had to report here before they could operate within the designated areas. Although the many recent incidents around the lake had thrown management into some disorder, these basic rules still could not be broken.

Fortunately, although Blood Lake was a holy site, it had not yet reached the level of a "forbidden zone," so the outpost's inspections of outside mercenary groups were somewhat lenient. Hilda successfully passed herself off as a member of a mercenary team and followed Hao Ren and the others to this rest station on a lakeside terrace.

The small outpost did not have many facilities. It consisted of two towers and several long, simple barracks, occupying a little over two hundred meters on each side. The entire outpost had been built on an artificial stone foundation shaped by magic, and warning arrays guarded the surroundings. It did not look as though they needed to worry about safety. The defenses here were mainly intended to deal with monsters that occasionally charged out of the woods, while the sacred island at the center of the lake had other, far stronger guards.

One of the barracks at the outpost was reserved for outsiders. Since most of the mercenaries here had already withdrawn to Leighton Town, the outpost had plenty of rooms. Becky led Hao Ren to the Church Knight officer stationed here, and after a simple registration, everyone received permission to stay briefly. However, aside from providing rooms, the outpost required outside mercenaries to pay for their own food and medicine. The Church Knights' Order took some supplies from its own military stores
