"...Actually, they made a move more than a century ago. They probably just managed to bring it to the surface now." Hao Ren explained the matter of the Day of Return and connected it to the anomalies in the Dream Plane. "...That's the situation. The Others seem to believe their power is about to recover and that certain 'ancestral objects' will reappear. Considering that the connection between the Dream Plane and the Outer World is growing stronger and the two worlds will soon be linked, could that be what they're referring to? The Others on Earth came from the Dream Plane, and aside from us, probably no one knows the true consequences of the Dream Plane's barrier disappearing. They may well think this is an opportunity—one that will let them reconnect with their homeland and fully revive."
Raven 12345 gently tapped her fingers on the table. "That's very possible. The Others' memories of the Dream Plane were erased by some kind of disaster, but they may have other ways of passing down certain secrets. For example, 'the ancestors' power came from some sealed, lost world.' Obscure religious legends like that could very well have survived."
Hao Ren looked at Raven 12345 searchingly. "Is it possible that the Others are driving the fusion of the Dream Plane and the Outer World..."
Raven 12345 waved him off before he could finish. "No, they don't have that kind of power. Most mortals don't. They can't even understand the mapping formula between the Dream Plane and the Outer World. Converting between the two requires a special Thinking Organ.
