It looked like Anna had followed Vivian and the others' instructions and hadn't told anyone else that there was a spatial rift in the Underground Palace leading to the Golden Land. Igor had no idea that Hao Ren and the others had gone to another world. There was no need to worry about anyone passing through that rift now, either: when Hao Ren returned, he had already set up sensors and a rift disruptor near it to prevent unrelated people from entering Tanagrus.
Igor also asked why one person was missing from the group—Becky had stayed behind in the Dream Plane and hadn't returned. Hao Ren explained that she had gone back to her hometown to visit her family.
The group declined Igor's invitation to stay and decided to go straight home. The first thing Hao Ren did was find his official car in the courtyard in front of the castle. It had been parked there for an entire week, and its roof was covered in snow. He patted the roof, feeling somewhat self-deprecating. When he had come here before, he hadn't put the car directly into his storage space because he was worried about frightening the ordinary people in the castle. Instead, he had left it in the courtyard. He hadn't expected the Wrath Spirit phenomenon at Andre Castle to have become so severe that everyone here had grown accustomed to supernatural phenomena. Nor had he expected the Andre family to be descended from Lady Witch's little brothers. If he had known they were such thick-skinned people, he wouldn't have gone to so much trouble back then.
"Keep an eye on the Underground Palace beneath the castle," Vivian instructed Igor. "Set up a few manned checkpoints in the alternate space within the Underground Palace, but don't go too deep.
