With the Data Terminal's prompting, Hao Ren started up the strange-looking machine. A wondrous sound like wind chimes rang out from inside it, while the blue lines and illusion devices on its surface lit up one after another, making the entire apparatus slowly shimmer with dazzling radiance like a half-moon awakening from slumber. This was not a cold, purely mechanical device. At first, there had only been a thin white mist, almost like an illusion, but the mist soon became an almost solid mass of light, floating in midair like a jellyfish.
"That's the captured wrath spirit." The Data Terminal hovered above the device and indicated the "light jellyfish" with a beam. "The first step is to charge it up. This thing was sealed for quite a while and is extremely weak now. Without reinforcing it, there's no way to read it."
Vivian was the first to worry. "Won't it escape?"
