A massive black wreckage stretched across the path ahead. The lush, glowing deep-sea plants growing around it illuminated every detail of the wreckage. It was more than ten kilometers long, with a slender central body. Numerous crystal plates were distributed around it, varying in size and ranging from several dozen to over a hundred meters wide. They spread outward along the wreckage's central axis like petals—or sails. At the rear, several strange, swollen metal structures could be seen, with things resembling heat-dissipation grilles arranged neatly across them.
The wreckage lay on the seabed, supported by numerous buildings that kept it from collapsing completely. Some of its crystal plates had apparently been smashed during its fall, leaving fragments scattered around it. Apart from that, there were no decipherable markings anywhere on the wreckage. Only one black crystal plate in the middle bore a gigantic abstract symbol resembling the sun, though its meaning was unknown.
Hao Ren's first reaction upon seeing it was that it was a spaceship. That was the result of his devoted study of those manuals over the past while. After conducting a further scan, the Data Terminal reached an even more definite conclusion: "It is indeed a spaceship, but its construction materials are completely different from the Siren ships'."
"You can tell that without saying it. The styles are completely different." As Hao Ren spoke, he had the Giant Turtle Rock Platform slowly approach the wreckage. The closer they got, the greater the impact the more-than-ten-kilometer-long steel monster made. Its strange "petal" structure and black paint were both striking. "This thing is really huge... Is it a warship or a civilian vessel?"
"This unit guarantees with its six corners that civilian vessels do not conveniently crash here for no reason. Judging from its structure, this thing looks more
