The four corpses were safely transported to the ship's laboratory and immediately transferred into sealed containers equipped with scanning functions. These humanoid creatures, as tall as giants from mythology, floated in midair under the effects of an antigravity field, pale-blue halos moving across their bodies—this was the equipment scanning their physical structures.
"These are all we found—the pilots of the black warship, a race of giants." Hao Ren pointed at one of the containers. "Aside from their skin color and size, they're basically no different from humans. But their bodies are definitely extraordinary. They've been soaking in the Aeolus seabed for over ten thousand years, yet these corpses show no signs of decay. They look like they just died."
Nangong Sanba craned his neck as far as he could. "Good grief... These guys are huge. No wonder the ships they built were so ridiculously large."
"I just remembered that 'bomb' we picked up on the Zalazane." Vivian suddenly nudged Hao Ren's arm. "We thought it was a shell back then, but judging by the size of these giants, that thing was probably an explosive bullet... or some kind of small grenade?"
Hao Ren thought for a moment. "It could also have been cluster munitions from a bomblet warhead?"
Lily poked both of them in the arms. "Why are you two researching this when you've got nothing better to do?"
The Data Terminal circled around the containers several times. A large mass of holographic projections floated beside it as it approached. "All of their vital organs come in pairs. Their bones are rich in metallic components, while the bone plates in their abdominal and thoracic cavities are semi-enclosed like armor. Their somatic cells are extraordinarily strong, almost reaching the limits of natural evolution. To be
