History recorded the abnormal Chaos Tide that occurred in Tarus's southern borderlands:
The storm took shape at the edge of the continent. The dark side of the Sea of Karnos surged within the endless abyss, broke through the borders of the Order World, and sent its first wave of energy surging northward from the southern Black Forest, destroying every stretch of land in its path. The forests twisted and withered, the earth rotted and turned toxic, the climate fell into disorder, and the stars vanished. Before this unprecedented Chaos power, the kingdom's watchtowers and villages established between the Black Forest and the buffer zone were almost transformed into dead lands overnight. They had no time at all to send news of the storm back to the fortress.
During the first assault, Black Raven Stronghold endured a desperate battle lasting an entire day and night. Because they had received no warning in advance, the kingdom's warriors suffered devastating losses. Before the rune barrier and Order Barrier rose, the knights could only stand against the enemy with their flesh and blood and the Golden Battle Flag. The Black Blade Legion's Second Battalion died to the last man on the defensive line, and not one retreated. The Black Raven Guard's Third and Fourth Battalions resisted the Chaos storm's aerial assault atop the walls; even after their numbers had been cut by more than half before the barrier lit up, not one retreated. The Black Raven Guard's supreme commander, Count Donald, died in battle on the walls, refusing to retreat until the very end.
The first storm finally subsided after a day and a night.
Three days later, the second assault arrived...
Black, filthy pillars of smoke crashed across the land like tornadoes. More than a dozen of them nearly plowed over the entire
