The "strange rock" that had lain dormant in the forest for a full week finally moved.

Early in the morning, the nearby small animals were startled into a chaotic panic by the strange noises constantly coming from the enormous crater. After a great deal of confusion, they confirmed that this was not the prelude to another explosion. Some particularly bold creatures then snuck across the woods and bushes and sprawled along the edge of the impact crater, watching the "strange rock from the sky." They saw that the culprit responsible for smashing a huge crater into the forest had somehow been completely renewed. Its once pitch-black shell now shimmered with a silvery-white radiance, while a beautiful halo drifted across its surface, rippling like the great lake in the forest. It looked incredibly beautiful.

A strange buzzing sound, like air being blown through a cave, continuously came from inside the bizarre object.

Several small beasts with gray-white pointed ears clung to tree branches and occupied the high ground. They hissed and snarled at the silvery-white boulder that was glowing and making strange noises. They angrily recalled that their former home—a beautiful and imposing tree hollow—had been destroyed by this thing that had fallen from the sky, and its remains now lay beneath the monster's belly. Clinging to the branches from what they considered a perfectly safe distance, the little beasts shouted at the dormant object, working hard as usual to drive away this unwelcome guest.

But this time, they seemed to have actually succeeded.

After buzzing continuously for a while, the silvery-white monster really did begin to slowly rise. Bright blue light shone from several long, narrow openings in its rear, while some of the grooves around its middle also glowed brightly. Under the influence of those lights, the enormous object,
