The void was infinite. It was everything and everything beyond everything, the unity of the knowable and unknowable, the collection of all things and all things beyond all things. Everything that could be described or not described, solved or unsolvable, ordered or chaotic—all of it was encompassed within the void. In this boundless domain, undercurrents surged. With every rise and fall of the tide, countless worlds were born, and countless worlds were annihilated. Whether the Dream Plane, the Outer World, or any other universe besides, they were all merely bubbles within the void.
Yet within these bubbles, endless splendor was born. The countless mindless and sentient, ignorant and wise natural phenomena and intelligent races shaped myriad worlds within each bubble, and every thread of scenery in those myriad worlds was enough to move even the gods.
Lia was seeing such scenery for the first time.
For a long time, she had been trapped within the small universe where she was born. All she could see was the horizon that could be described by mathematical limits. Even when she sensed things with divine power, she could only vaguely perceive the edge of the universe and the faint Information Fluctuation beyond it. Through calculation and deduction, she had concluded that new worlds still existed beyond the universe, but today was the first time she had seen with her own eyes the scenery that had previously existed only in mathematical formulas and theoretical models.
Countless nebulae, nations, and star domains stretched across the surface of the water beneath her feet. Some of them gradually became clear, and the fates of those worlds entered her mind along with them. It was as though she were personally witnessing their histories and futures. Although the distance between those worlds and herself had reached a scale that
