The Starry Sky People—that was what humanity called these mysterious beings from the depths of the stars. On Horleta, however, the ancient Magic Emperors referred to them as the "Allies of the Stars." The true name of these mysterious beings was something else entirely, but their language and vocabulary structure were so bizarre that ordinary races found it difficult to accurately reproduce the name of their race, whether by transliteration or literal translation. Thus, the races that had once come into contact with them ultimately chose whatever name they were accustomed to using.
The Starry Sky People appeared as masses of shapeless, brilliant radiance, with specks of starlight and lightning coursing through them. Some believed these creatures had formed from the universe's most primordial, pure light, representing the world's side of absolute radiance. They possessed bizarre technologies—or perhaps magic—that humans could not understand, and could bring about all kinds of miracles. Some even believed they wielded a power beyond the material realm, allowing them to influence such ethereal things as fate and causality. The Starry Sky People had initially established communication with the humans on this planet through mental contact. They later came to the planet through a strange optical phenomenon that defied physical common sense, and quickly demonstrated their incredible power and noble qualities.
The Starry Sky People warned the locals of the Firstborn's awakening and told them of a catastrophe beyond mortal imagination, one that would almost overturn the entire universe. At first, the humans on this planet did not believe the warnings, but the Starry Sky People soon proved everything through a series of precise prophecies and the Firstborn tentacles excavated from deep underground. They helped the natives prepare for the world-ending catastrophe, including a plan to fight the Firstborn and a special shield to protect the
