With a flash of light, warped space gradually settled, and Giant Turtle Rock Platform emerged from the vastness of space.
This was a frontier outpost of the drone swarm. The drone nest, rebuilt from an asteroid and resembling a twisted lair, still floated quietly in the distance. Compared with the last time, however, the outpost had clearly developed. Several newly built space factories and connecting structures could be seen around it, while space watchtowers equipped with sentry cannons stood in neat rows around the new structures, guarding the vast region like lighthouses.
The Ark fleet was moored within the protective range of those watchtowers.
All the Arks were currently stationary. Nolan had forcibly cut off the ships' power using an external controller to conserve fuel, and had taken the opportunity to carry out emergency repairs, barely restoring their most severely damaged engines and warp-space generators to a condition where they could operate continuously. Giant Turtle Rock Platform glided silently and swiftly through space before lightly landing on the hull of the Ark known as the Throne.
Katerina watched the situation outside the ship from the bridge of Giant Turtle Rock Platform. Although this was not her first time traveling aboard a spaceship, she was still fascinated by this wondrous journey through space. When she saw the enormous Arks, however, her fascination transformed entirely into astonishment.
"This Ark is even larger than I expected," the Siren Queen exclaimed softly. "...It's bigger than Nathatone."
